Re: What does QVC stand for to you?

What does QVC stand for to me, you ask? Well, besides the Quailty, Value, and Convenience, I have come to depend upon them for things I not only need, but want.

I tell anyone who asks about my clothes or other things that I got them at QVC. I have turned on a lot of people to QVC and they are equally happy with the prices, the quality, and above all....the convenience.

I save a lot of time by not having to get in the car, go to the mall, find a parking place, get out and walk into the place, look for what I want, find it and wait for someone to wait on me, etc.

QVC means all things good to me. I am so glad I found out about them four years ago. The annual Beauty Awards was the very first thing I watched on QVC.

@Travone Sounds like you won't be associating yourself with QVC anymore. Will miss your posts. Heart

[ Edited ]

I've been shopping for years on QVC -- probably as long as they've been here.  Maybe one or two problems receiving a damaged item.  But never that many issues.  If I did experience what you stated you have, I would have gone elsewhere to stop.

There's items that are ones I know and trust.  I've had no bad problems ever with them.

Re: What does QVC stand for to you?

I’ve been with QVC since the beginning and have bought many things.

I don’t buy as much as I did but that’s because my needs are more prevalent than my wants. Also I don’t care for the new styles for me but it’s fine for others.

QVC’s customer service has always been top notch.

I don’t watch the Q unless I’m interested in purchasing a product so therefore a host doesn’t get on my nerves.

I purchased the Garmin on Q2 last night so I’m excited about it.

Re: What does QVC stand for to you?

@Travone, sorry you've had a streak of disappointments.

To me, QVC is simply a retailer.

What I've bought from QVC has always been the quality I hope to get from ANY retailer.

I've only had two returns and neither was a quality issue.

Now that you prod my to think about it, I've gotten some really exceptional values over the years.

       (hey, thanks qvc!)

Simply put, if it weren't convenient for me to do so, I wouldn't bother to shop here.

I think of QVC as any other TV channel.

In other words, I only turn it on when they're showing something I'm interested in actually watching.

I don't tell them how to run their TV station any more than I tell NBC or HBO how to run theirs.

The hosts aren't my 'friends', and I have no emotional investment in their hairstyles, speech patterns, personal lives, or careers.

Re: What does QVC stand for to you?

I have had good luck with customer service over the years.  But I usually read all the reviews first and then wait for clearance or AS IS.  I  have only a few issues and one of them was stolen merchandise at our post office.  The other was a refund that the credit card company did not pick up and I was charged late fees. QVC helped me get out of that one.  Not my fault.   Never ever again will I get a Q card since the bank if beyond their control.

Re: What does QVC stand for to you?

I have been with QVC since day one.   I only remember two things in all these years.  One was a defective clasp on a bracelet.  The other was a set of candles that out of the 6 only 4 worked.  I did receive a new set and they are working well, and they have been running day and night and that has to be about 4 years ago.

QVC has good customer service.  I have had the Mods help me a few times, and they go above and beyond to help you.

I do not purchase clothes but I have purchased a few Denim and Company denim jackets several years ago and they still look new.

I personally enjoy shopping here and have learned about a lot of products that I didn't know existed. I have also found things that No other retailer had.

If you receive anything broken or missing something, just call customer service or ask the Mods help you.  Going off on a Forum is not going to help you.  Sorry you are  having bad luck with your merchandise that you have ordered
