Q_Shopper, did you check out Amazon for availability and reviews?  They amost always have a lot more reviews posted than QVC does, and they also leave items on their site that are "not available at this time" so you can still read about them.  I always check out Amazon reviews before making a major purchase. 

Oh, and I hae the Nutri-Ninja.  It works for my purposes - smothies and frozen drinks.  It probably isn't as good as a Vitamix, but it didn't cost as much either.

Thanks, Shiraz. Yes, I tend to do the same (check Amazon reviews prior to major purchases).
