You may complain but I recently read an article that said that clothing sales are horrible this year because so many people are working from home. The only decent sales numbers are for cozy clothes.

QVC apparel sales have been down for a couple years now, way before the pandemic--(the results can be found on their parent company, libertyinteractive's website and were even posted on the Forum if you use the search feature)----QVC  needs to learn what their specific customer base wants instead of focusing on trends or fads happening in all of retail.....I remember reading an article in one of the financial journals tahat discussed the importance of retailers KNOWING THEIR CUSTOMERS to keep them engaged and buying...

I don't remember the last clothing item I purchased from QVC. Maybe a grey Barefoot Dreams cardigan a couple of years ago? There isn't much about QVC clothes that interest me. Whatever demographic they are going for isn't me.Man Very Happy

Re: Upcoming TSV----Shocker!!

I absolutely agree!  I get up in the morning, get my shower and get dressed for the day.  I do not sit all day in my pajamas, even on the weekend.  I never could do that.  I am sick of the cozy line, too.  We get it already.  Move on.

I too am tired of seeing PJ'S, socks, etc. Day after day we've seen the Halo Bolt and Berkshire blankets.  Now they have a Halo charger on and I'm sure that will be on for days.  Same stuff laced in throughout the day. Day after day.

Same here.  I am not going to schlep around the house like some kind of slug all day in my pajamas.  Time to move on, America.  Don't let marketing control what you wear and how you behave.

@IamDoodles  I think everyone knows how to live their lives. No need for anyone else to tell people how to. MYOB. Know what that means? Move on yourself.

@Spurt  I don't even remember how many years we go back in our discussion of how truly qwappy QVC is for the holidays, year in and year out... I look online at the repetitive, uniteresting array of 'comfortable', 'practical' and outright junque and am absolutely flummoxed that they just keep on keeping on with this incredily undesirable array of supposed gifts... I said it years ago and I'll say it again, I am so glad those shopping for me rarely shop here...

Re: Upcoming TSV----Shocker!!

I don't know anyone who stays in their pajamas all day unless sick.  I don't know anyone who wears pajamas when they go out.  And they look way too warm to sleep in. I guess QVC thinks their customers are people who wander around in pajamas all the time.  I do think 92,000 is a high number for TSV sales, though.
