I am retired. I don't need to go out for work. But it is bad enough I feel like I am under house arrest... I get up every morning and dress up and make plans to go out somewhere.... today it was Costco, yesterday Walmart, and usually I find something I need to buy or not. But being out and about even if it is only for a few hours makes me feel alive.

As for the cozy pajamas. I have what I need and have no plans to buy more.

The best advice my Mom gave me was to get up, shower, dress, hair and if I didn't feel so good, I'd feel better, and funny.... I do. I'm not talking about being sick sick or seriously ill, tho even then a semblance of order does tend to help us feel "more in control" and that always helps!!

@GinaV24 It's the same every year. January is the time to organize, get back in shape, and diet. Got nothing to do with the pandemic although I'm sure they'll work it into their pitches.
