USPS...

Have to say I'm rather irritated by USPS. At least I believe it because of USPS....Here is the travel of my QVC package...FYI...I live in Peoria AZ (suburb of Phoenix)

9-25 packaged in Fontana CA

9-26 departed Fontana, CA

9-27 arrived in Tolleson, AZ (very close to Phoenix)

9-27 arrived in Peoria, AZ (yeah)

still didn't get my package

and now today....

10-4 it arrives in Boca Raton, FL now Florida isn't very close to Peoria AZ...and

I believe Florida has enough problems to deal with right now...getting over a terrible hurricane

Do I contact my local post office for them to contact Boca Raton, do I contact Boca Raton...But I am sure they have more than one post office..so I don't know which one...but I do have a tracking number, or do I wait and see. Good thing it's a Christmas present. Hopefully it will arrive before 12-25. Hopefully!!!!

@ruthbe I am in Florida and I had several packages delivered in the last 2 days. Things are moving, so I would not worry that it is in Florida. USPS is a mess. It seems like the more we pay for shipping the worse it gets.

I have been having a bad time with my locations , UPS does a great job getting it to the destinnation and then it just sits for days. This is USPS's fault.QVC is a little better shipping it out than they were.

I upgraded UPS so packages sent sure post are upgraded and delivered by UPS not the USPS. If they say it's being shipped by US Mail I cancel. I can't imaging mailing a check, gift card, or anything of value.

USPS does a good job in our area. I am in upper SC. I don't mind them delivering our packages at all. We have issues with Fed X here.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@ruthbe You don't do anything but sit and wait. Your package simply got put on the wrong truck. Happens all the time. Its not necessarily the fault of the USPS, but rather the company that contracts to transport packages between facilities. They make tons of mistakes. Tolleson is the hellhole where my packages sometimes sit for days although it's better than it was a few months ago.

@ruthbe - You don't need to call anyone. Just wait for your package to arrive. If it's a Christmas present, why the big rush?

@ruthbe Thank You! The state is in such turmoil. I watch the news and I just cry. So many people lost everything. Ifg it would have went into Tampa that would be me. Makes me think if I want to stay here. I love the weather, but things like this really make me question. This is the second one that was suppose to hit Tampa since I moved here in 2003. So I was lucky twice. Will I be the next time?
