Since my 2 macular hole eye surgies, I switch between font sizes 2 & 3.
I do believe what people see depends on the size of their comp screens & mobile devices. My iMac has a 27" screen. My MBP has a 15" screen. The font sizes in this forum looks different on both computers.
As for colors, I switch around from time to time. I mostly use bold because its easier to read. My eyes are still on the long road to recovery.
The folks here who use smaller print, I just increase/enlarge their fonts through my browser menu. So it's not really an issue for me.

I admit that I'm too lazy to bother changing it...

Don't know why they think the board members want to learn how to use a word processor!

What is there to learn? To me it's just show & tell. Most if not all message boards gives you "click" options in the Preferences settings & the reply windows on how you want your messages displayed.

The only time I've ever strayed from the default font is for emphasis, and I think I've done that only once or twice.
I'm a simple person. I don't like different fonts, especially within one post; I don't like colors; and I don't like posts that are in bold because I tend to bold a portion of a poster's comment when I reply.

@suzyQ3. Makes sense to me and sorry about the blue print.

I use 3 now because some used to tell me that my font was too small to read.
The weird thing was, mine looked larger to me than theirs or others!
I think that as @Mz iMac-
we see the fonts totally differently depending on the device we are using.
Still, I guess 2 or above (but not gigantic) works for most I hope.
I think colors are easier to read too so I use them a lot. And then again, others don't like colors.

Certainly no need to apologize to me, @Shanus. I hardly expect everybody to abide by my preferences. :-)
