Re: The future of the Q Forums?

I, too will not use Facebook. My account was hacked. Luckily I made sure not to post personal info, pics, etc., and I barely used it. In order to get back in they wanted a copy of my Driver's License. NO WAY!! I worked in Cyber Security for many years. Learned a lot so I am extremely wary of social media.

I don't post much but enjoy reading. The many suggestions/information provided here are important to me and very helpful.

Re: The future of the Q Forums?

I'm commenting again because I believe if the Q shuts down their Forums, many of us will have little to no reason to visit the Q website, thus sales will plunge. Cat Wink

Birds of a feather flock together.

Birds of a feather shop together.

Monkey see, monkey do.

It would be a mistake to shut this place down.

So true @SilleeMee . Last year a poster showed a Logo top she got on clearance for $22. I snapped up one for myself. Earlier in the day, I wouldn't have said I was buying anything from QVC that day.

Re: The future of the Q Forums?

Many on the forums are homebound and use the forums to communicate with like minded shoppers. It would be a huge mistake to shut them down. I wish the forums were around in the 1990s during QVC's heyday era.  Does anyone know what year the forums appeared ?

@San Antonio Gal  I hope they keep up with the forums.  I learn so much here, be it makeup, books, tv, movies, even computers and phones.  So many smart, kind people here.  I would miss most of you alot.

Re: The future of the Q Forums?

HSN's tiny community is still up and running with very few people online. The last time I went there only 2 people were online. I never see more than 10 online at the same time. If they are keeping HSN's forum open, I can't see them shutting down QVC's forum.

I agree. I learn a lot here. I buy quite a few items because of the conversations and posts, especially @Chi-town girl 's posts. I love the beauty forum and how everyone shares good deals and sales.

Also encourage younger family members to go to the forums instead of dangerous social media websites.  These forums are monitored by QVC and are a safe place to discuss issues of the day, as well as QVC gossip and business practices. I cannot say the same for Facebook.

Put your settings at Facebook on Private and only talk to Friends. Actually, a lot safer because you "know" the people you are talking to in real life @Reever .
