@Q-Checker, It is not free loading when the forums are offered for free. Many of us have spent thousands and have more than paid our dues. They have lost a lot of customers due to questionable practices such as charging full price and sending out dirty used goods, claiming something is in stock when it is not, shipping, shipping shipping OMG etc, etc. I always loved shopping here but I am not willing to continue on until they clean it up and I can depend on them again. I do think the mods here do an excellent job of problem solving.

It will be a VERY SAD DAY in my life if these forums are shut down... I pray they stay up and running. Lets all try to make it easier on the moderators and not create trouble.

QVC is a Business - and they are smart enough to realize that everyone coming here is keeping QVC at the forefront of their minds, and that translates into $$$$$$.

I don't like the way they are monitored. No freedom of speech here.  I agree no hate speech or cussing, but honest opinions should be allowed & not the what a QVC employee thinks is inappropriate..

Why should they bother, since so many of the posters claim to not even shop here anymore anyway. They need to focus on making their shopping experience more relevant to a younger demographic and let these boards go.

@kindred cats 100% correct!  Speaking for myself, I come check out the forum-- the TSV board, Q Talk, Community Chat and Recipes.  While here, if someone mentions a product, if I am interested in it I check it out.  I look at the LTS's, Items Recently On-Air, etc.  I would rarely come to the QVC site if the forums were gone.  

I have made purchases based upon items mentioned and "reviewed" here.  I am sure I am not alone.

By the way, I have been on these boards since it was called Shop Talk.  I recognize many names from those days.  Anyone else remember?  There even used to be a window with a live chat feature.  You could see who was online and could "chat".  Due to them having me re-sign up, my user name has changed at least 3 times!

Q can't afford to lose any sales given their lousy financial reports of the last few years. 

It's a shame most products can be found elsewhere for less money. They would probably do better if they were more competitive and stopped showing the same dozen products (or variations of) week after week after week after......

That is not the purpose of the forum.  It is a place to exchange interesting information and talk with one another, not a complaint session.

It is a wonder that Q does keep the forum at the expense to them.  All the complaining and visiting forum but never buying does not do those of us who support QVC and enjoy and appreciate being able to visit the forum any favors.  If Q does eliminate the forum at any time, the above reasons would be at the top of the reasons for eliminating it.
