I can also understand why the Q is offering incentives to new customers but I think not considering your loyal customers is a huge mistake.

I rarely watch QVC anymore and do my ordering from the computer. All the shows with several hosts drinking wine, chattering until I could scream and not staying on the product information is more than I care to take. I do watch the Valerie shows but even they seem to be moving into the entertainment arena. I find myself going to the computer to look up vital information for the product they are showing.

None of my friends shop the Q and I find this interesting. Some of them don't even know what I am talking about. Yes, I have been a loyal customer (over thirty years)...ordering here when I knew I would pay more. Not anymore. This whole shipping issue has left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not about the money...it is about the principle, for me.

Regal Bee, I agree — it’s about the principle for me too.

Anyone who like free shipping can enter free shipping in the search bar. My search showed 118 pages for thousands of products with free shipping.

Being a loyal, long time customer doesn't seem to matter much anymore. Gone are the days when loyalty meant something and companies truly cared about the customers that helped build their business. I realize QVC is trying to entice new customers, but alienating your loyal customer base is wrong on so many levels.

I've been with QVC since day one, but my spending with them is really going to be limited...if not non-existent. I have a few auto deliveries that I've had for years and I will continue those, but future purchases.....well, that remains to be seen. And I'm sure my lack of purchasing won't be a drop in the bucket to their bottom line....but loyalty should carry some weight after all. Just sad.

@Kachina624

And there are already TONS of infomercials out there...when I see the same stuff offered on QVC I turn it off.

NEW PRODUCTS and less droning hours of theTSV.

We can all read a schedule!! Don't need an hour of vacuums in a ITKWD or a bed in a jewelry show!!!

Go back to ONE channel and do it better and right, instead of diluting the effort with repetitious repeats of the same stuff on the main channel....

EVERYONE can scroll forward on thier cable or satellite menus to see what's coming up for the next week at least, and there's a Program Guide here.

As for streaming? Who on EARTH streams an hour of a Halo Bolt or a Amazon Fire Tablet?

@cjm61 @Wrote : My kids, mid 30's, do not buy from QVC. Now, granted, they will come over and the Q will be on TV and they become mesmerized. My SIL came over once when that blender thing was a TSV. He sat and watched it for about 20 minutes and said wow, I don't even want one but the host has sold me on it making me feel I need it. This has happened many times, visitors become entranced for a bit watching it.

Well, not one has opened an account and purchased anything. They never watch it at home. They go to Amazon, or some other site, and make a purchase from them. They have no interest, free shipping or not, in watching and buying from QVC.

@cjm61 the younger generation does not seem to have the  patience we had at their age. They want things done instantly with a few clicks of a mouse or taps on the device they are tethered to.  It's a different world and not one for the better in my opinion. I'm fearful for my grandchildren where this world is heading.

@cjm61   I agree, a one time free shipping for new customers would be fine.  But, 15 especially with holiday shopping ? They have lost me as a very long time good customer. And I've closed my Q card. The special values aren't so special any more.

I have had people on this board snap at me for my posts about this, but you know what?  I DON"T CARE.  I can't respect a Company that does this toit's long term Customers.  Not everyone has a Q Card and to me that was another scam to get us to get one.  NO THANKS.  My cards give me cash back. To me a Q Card is a waste.  People said You can't close your account but I closed my Husbands when he passed.  I also had to at one time because I remarried and my name changed and I realized that I had 2 accounts.

This past week I would have purchased the TSV in L&L but I would have paid $11.00 in shipping.  I would have bought a piece of Jewelry of of Kathy but that was another 5.50.   That would be 16.50 for 3 things while a new person could save that in just one week?   If this is all they think of us==Good Luck with your new Customers Q.

The shipping is more than $3.50 to $5.50.  QVC adds the shipping to the total amount of the purchase and then calculates the sales tax for the person's state that they live in.  My shipping increases by ten percent because that is the sales tax in California where I live.  So the $3.50 and $5.50 shipping is actually $3.85 and $6.05 after all the calculations.
