The calls don't bother me.  The callers sound lonely and in need of human interaction.

They want to keep chatting and the Host sometimes struggles to get them to go and end the call without being rude.

I find some of the calls sad....I can't imagine having to call in to QVC to get someone to talk to you.

I don't mind the calls either.  I like how excited the callers are to be on the air.  They don't really take that much time either.

Comm'on @SandySparkles .  There are stupid people in all demographics.  Most seniors are moxey enough to know those calls are to be taken with a grain of salt.  We're  not all senile.

@Kachina624  I didn't take @SandySparkles  to mean anything about senility at all.

I think it is very obvious who makes the overwhelming majority of those calls though.  It seems 99% come in from seniors who's first priority is to talk to their favorite host who they've watched since day 1.  Those are the calls I always hear anyway.

The callers feel the family & friends connection with the host.  Talking about the actual item is practically an after thought.

I mean, how does, "I got the blue one," actually help a shopper?

@Carmie   I agree and then the hosts are at a loss of what to say over illnesses or deaths and hosts  have to gracefully struggle to move on. Then some callers have such a gravel voice or throat issues are not pleasant to hear.

OH But “THE BEST” call in ever was the last airing of Bumblebella Dreamy Jersey Jumpsuit with Shawn!!! The last time I looked it was still on the Q, but if not maybe check YouTube. Even Jill and Shawn loved her and Jill said something like she couldn’t think of a better way to end her day. 🤗🤗🤗

I agree cringeworthy. The calls are awkward and should just stop.

The callers don’t bother me at all. And Kim Gravel has some of the sweetest callers.

In fact I’d much rather listen to them, than a person that complains. Think about it…

Many times the callers call in with questions on how to use the item or the uses they've found for it.  I've heard callers call in with suggestions on improving an item too.  Can be helpful for folks that are interested in actually purchasing the item being presented.

Re: Testimonials

Maybe this is QVC 's effort to seem as though they are the same company they were 20 yrs ago.  Maybe someone passed on a post where  a poster  made a comment abt what they missed abt  the old " QVC ".

Most of the call ins are people praising certain Hosts , which does not influence me. Callers usually , sound  & mention they are lonely or want to talk abt their illnesses.

Nothing has changed at QVC , last night on that Effy jewelry show  the Rep was selling a $1,500  Aqua & diamond ring . Not once did I see her show the under gallery .  It seems to me , they might sell more if they would  have offered a ring less ornate , less diamonds  and have a decent under gallery .
