Thanks for the reminder to take a minute and breath...  Am sending the image on to others... Heart

I have noticed that I am now feeling more anxious than  earlier in the year.

And... I have never taken any comments on this forum personally.  May read post - or not - and just move on....

@corita,  You're welcome.   I'm so glad the information was helpful.   When I was reading online and came across both of those sentiments they rang a bell with me, so I was hoping they would do the same for someone else.

Great advice about not taking things personally.   I've posted before about the "Agreements" (Don Miguel Ruiz, in the spoiler), and a very special poster, @september, gave me a shorthand for one of those...  "qtip" which means "quit taking it personally."

Spoiler

  • Be impeccable with your word.   ”Speak with integrity.   Say only what you mean.   Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others.   Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love."

  • Don't make assumptions.   ”Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want.   Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.   With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life."

  • Don't take anything personally.  ”Nothing others do is because of you.   What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream.   When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering."

  • Always do your best.   ”Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.   Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret."

  • Be skeptical, but learn to listen.   Much of what you hear isn’t true.   Humans speak with symbols and symbols are truth because we agree, not because they are truth.    When you learn to listen, you understand the meaning of symbols;  you understand their story, and communication improves.

    ~Don Miguel Ruiz

I hope and pray that you and everyone else can feel less anxious as we move through this challenging time.❤️

@dooBdoo  Thank you for that great post.  I watch little news these days. I can't change anything.  We're doing all we can to protect ourselves and others and that's all we can do.  I think of all the people who have to be out there helping the sick. Bless them all.  Hope and optimism is all we have to keep us going.🌈💚

@MoJoV,  You're welcome.   Lovely post you shared with us, and I agree that hope and optimism are positive beacons.   Thank you for the good reminder.❤️
