TERRIBLE HORRIBLE NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

UPSET AND NEED TO VENT. ORDERED AN ITEM AND PAID EXTRA TO HAVE IT HERE BY XMAS (SUNDAY ORDERED EXPRESS BLUE FOR TWO DAY SHIPPING)....GOT THE EMAIL YESTERDAY MY ITEM SHIPPED, WHEN I TRACKED THE PACKAGE SAID IT WOULD BE HERE 12/26. I PANICKED AS THE GIFT IS FOR MY CHILD AND I CALLED QVC CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE SAID OH I SEE THE PACKAGE SHIPPED AND IT SHOWS IT WILL BE THERE TOMORROW 12/24. I SAID ONLINE IT SAID IT WILL ARRIVE 12/26. SHE SAYS NO, I SEE 12/24. I SAID OH GOOD, I PAID EXTRA. WELL IT'S 12/24 AND IT'S ALMOST 7PM PACIFIC TIME....NO PACKAGE. I CHECKED ONLINE AND THE PACKAGE IS IN KENTUCKY! ETA DELIVERY IS 12/26. WHY DO YOU THINK SHE LIED TO ME? TO APPEASE ME AND GET ME OFF THE PHONE. THIS IS THE 4TH CUSTOMER SERVICE REP AND THE 3RD ONE WHO HAS TOLD ME SOME JUNK....ARE PEOPLE NOT TRAINED PROPERLY? JUST EXTRA HOLIDAY HELP WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON, OR JUST BAD LUCK OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR ONE ITEM. DANGIT. GONNA HAVE ONE SAD KID.

Didn't you write the same post last year or was it another procrastinator whose Christmas was ruined? There are 365 days in a year. Best not to wait until the 3 before Christmas to place orders and expect them to arrive on time. If you have a sad kid, it's YOUR fault.

Why do people wait until the last minute, rely on mail order and then become flummoxed that things don't work out?

OP, sorry this happened, but don't blame QVC when it gets down to the last minute.

The problem is not last minute shoppers. The problem is that QVC promises in writing that items will be delivered by the 24th. They need to stop doing it.

Is this the same person who last year posted basically the same exact thing, "My kid's Christmas is 'ruined' because a gift that I ordered late didn't arrive!"?

It is NOT QVC's fault that YOU waited too long. That is YOUR fault.

A gift can not make or ruin Christmas. That choice, on whether to have a good Christmas or not, is entirely up to you.
