I love liquid knit- almost all of my work wardrobe is this. I feel that it is well made, easy to care for, doesn't wrinkle, and packs well for travel. Just as Susan says, if you are traveling you can wash an item in your hotel sink, hang it up, and it will be dry by morning. I love that Susan seems to be listening and is offering more v-necks and prints other than flower prints.

@queen75 It's inexpensive polyester at expensive prices. Tried on and found it doesn't "breathe" with my body. Hated the clammy feeling of the slick material. SG neglects to mention it is manmade fabric. I only wear cottons, linens, silks, wools, (natural fibers). It went to Charity without an actual wearing.
One of those awful fabrics, like plastic, that will live forever in the landfills. So yes, it will also live in your closet a very long time if you like her pricey polyester stuff.

Well according to Susan, it's literally liquid.

@SeaMaiden. How do you know it's cheap? Do you have an inside track on what Susan pays for fabric? Polyester has come a long way since the early "cheap" days. It also comes in many grade at different prices.

And it actually does last forever. I saw a segment on TV about how much clothing ends up in landfills. Polyester clothing lasts for 200 years!

It's a thin fabric and slippery fabric. No bulk under other tops or sweaters. I almost always wear liquid knit (or other poly fabric) under my LOGO.
I don't like liquid knit bottoms - even her "pants weight" liquid knit is too flimsy for my taste for a pants fabric . I prefer her lustra knit pants.
@ALRATIBA Everything you said here is true. i stopped buying her slacks because for some reason no matter what size I purchase, they're just too big in the waist for me and like you said they're too flimsy. i did find a fabulous pair of skinny dress pants from Bob Mackie. they're substantial and fit perfectly. Item number is A365988. Only bad thing I was only able to purchase the black pair. The other two colors I just didn't like. If he would have offered grey and beige and Khaki, I would have ordered all colors too. I'm keeping an eye out to see if he brings them back in more wearable colors. They're the best I've gotten from QVC so far.
Thanks for the info about the Mackie skinny pants. I have his wide leg, and they too are a bit too flimsy. I have to wear a pants liner under them. I just won't wear pants that show the outline of bones of my knees when I walk!
I was wondering about his new slim leg ... I'll give them a try.
--------------------------
ETA: I just looked at the Mackie pants ... one problem is that there are pockets. Since it will have to have the pockets removed ... need to wait until they are marked down quite a bit. HATE pants with pockets.
@ALRATIBA @Please watch the video again. There is pockets but you’d never know it. There’s a very thin zipper to shut them. I swear the pockets are paper thin, and they’Re flat. To wear and look at these pants you’d never know there’s pockets.

Polyester is a byproduct of petroleum processing. No doubt nature will evolve to break down polyester and plastics. Who knows? Maybe it will return to oil.

Many items I buy at Chico’s are very similar to SG’s liquid knit.
True. Particularly her woven poly pieces. Can't tell them apart

I love the easy care but I sweat profusely in her line of clothing. I did have her liquid knit tops fade and pill, too.
