I was just in Times Square yesterday and pass through almost daily.

It is no more dangerous, for most of us, than any other tourist-centric locale in the country.

As with many things, your safety may depend upon the time of day you visit and the reason you are there in the first place.

But the bigger question is did you get cherry or strawberry cheesecake? @They CallMe MRWILKES

Publix had Juniors cheesecakes small & large round w/swirl.

"On sale" $12.49 for small and $18.49 for large one.

I bought a better cheesecake at WM  a 6" round their brand $5.98.  I topped with blueberry pie filling yum😊

I have had Juniors cheesecake many times.  It is good, however, I prefer Pellman cheesecakes.  They're less expensive and they are excellent.

I don't live in NY and between the Juniors price and shipping, they're expensive.  Pellman is just as good and less expensive, even online.

Also, there is an outlet near me that has Pullman cheesecakes for a really low discounted price.  They're seconds, but I don't mind.  I have never figured out why they are seconds.  They look and taste perfect.

I also make my own.  I am not crazy about that thin cake layer in the bottom of Juniors.  I can't have gluten and just throw it away.  I'm sure that addition adds to their high prices.

I am not saying Juniors are not worth the high price, but they are not worth it to me.

I went with the traditional cheesecake with cherry topping.

So many tempting options,  the carrot cake, red velvet cake, coconut lemon layer cake, chocolate mousse cake.....

There's always tomorrow.

I'm sorry to change the subject but, years ago there was a cheesecake called Baby Watson Cheesecake .. the bakery was located in NYC on 8th Ave around 29th Street (approx address) .. it was the BEST cheesecake you ever wanted to eat .. unfortunately they went out of business but, they were so much better than Junior's... I wish they were still around 😁
