I buy Cheryl's Cookies regularly, so I should probably start checking my head for holes. Woman Very Happy

Sounds like the recently featured Junior's Heart Shaped Strawberry Cheesecake.

If you ever visit one of Junior's restaurants in Times Square, you can pick up a single slice of the cheesecake (in many varieties.) I do this on occasion as a treat.

The single slices of various cakes range from $8.95 to nearly $10.00.

So extrapolating, that price for an entire cake is not unreasonable; plus consider the shipping factored in.

And yes, it is fabulous cheesecake, well worth the price (to me.)

Same to me! I used to frequent the Brooklyn location when I worked across the street at LIU. Fabulous food and cheesecake, Basically the same price as the restaurants themselves.

Anyone who pays $77 for a cheesecake has a hole in their head.

Do you ever have a positive comment to make?  🙄

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes.  Well worth the price to us as well.  We had their chocolate covered egg shaped cheesecake easter time and it was fabulous. Still have some in a locknlock in the freezer and next slice will be perfect.

When I was married, we lived in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.  We'd walk to Junior's a couple of times a week for our one slice of cheesecake [each].  Usually had to wait in line. Told ourselves the exercise from the long walk countered the calories.

Junior's cheesecake is magnificent, and well worth it's price.

Well worth it - it's real cheesecake and not the cheap knockoffs with graham cracker crusts and not as rich filling!  The Cheesecake Factory has good cream cheese desserts but not what I consider real cheesecake!  I have the original recipe of Junior's cheesecake and it is more expensive to make then throwing together some ground graham crackers and generic less rich cream cheese!

Also guess someone has no eyes, ears, nose and mouth!

You are sooo right! Nothing taste like a Junior's Cheesecake! I love it! It is expensive but when I want Cheesecake...Junior's it is! It's just like the Honey Baked Ham. Expensive but worth it! Once you've eaten either of these you have to know the difference!😋Nothing else can compare!

Btw, where did you find the original recipe? Would you mind sharing it? Please...🤗

@Starpolisher   I have a Junior's Dessert Recipe cookbook that I got here a few years ago.  They have it on Amazon now.  I would attatch the recipe but my cookbook was loaned to a friend.  You can find it online by searching Junior's cheese recipe though.  It really is not that hard to make but you have to be precise for best results.  I would suggest getting the cookbook - the Oreo Little Fellas cheesecake cupcake recipe is out of this world!!

I don't buy Junior's cheesecakes...cuz they are my passion to make myself.

I know how much TIME, EFFORT and MONEY go into mine...I would charge the same price!   LOL

Lifeloveandsugar.com has fantastic recipes!  Follow her instructions exactly...and you can make your own as well if the price for Juniors is too much to consider.

Have you ever purchased a whole cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant??????

YES. Last November I bought a 4 lb. Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake for $16.99 at Costco. It's EASY to make a fruit topping. It was MUCH better than Junior's. The QVC price on Junior's is a RIP-OFF, like ALL of the food they sell.
