@Pearlee Yes, you're right. Her contract is not being renewed.

I kind of thought that might be coming since the new substitute rep for the brand, George, was brought on and we saw less and less of Jessie in the last few months.
@Caaareful Shopper I am really sorry to hear that Jessie was let go. I liked her a lot..

I can actually tolerate SG. She is much more subdued and doesn't interrupt via Skype.

Nothing is "normal" right now

Did I read that correctly about Sally? I was wondering why I hadn't seen her. I hope it isn't true. I think Sally is a great vendor--very informative since for years has been in the shoe industry and brings humor to her presentations. She was the one who turned me onto Earth brand shoes. I watched her before when she worked for Birkenstock. Sad if she doesn't return.

I'll tell you one way they should change how they present clothes: put the models into clothes that FIT.
I notice that lately QVC has been using larger-size models on their Denim & Co. shows and they jam them into clothes that are 2 sizes too small. It makes not only the models look terrible but it makes the clothes look bad.
(And Denim & Co. being listed as "fashion"? oh my god in heaven!)

@esmerelda wrote:@jackthebear So the host won't have to work so hard?
Like another here, I remember when vendor reps, if any, were few and far between. The host carried the show, had the knowledge, did the presentation.
Poor David...Sunday when he was by himself showing his Lock n Lock configuration, he seemed frantic trying to keep up with the colors that sold out and removing them.
I like David and he's probably presented alone before, but Sunday...I think it was the first item...frantic. Glad the set did well..with his name on it and everything.
David seems to be more and more OBSESSED with colors or how many they sold in the show and little else about the products....Its a pet peeve of mind when the vendor is making an important point and David interrupts and says "lets go through the colors" (again!)......I already know them by heart ...
I think (and realize that many love DV) that he leans on product reps more than others, as he focuses on colors happy dancing etc
Anything that stops him from happy dancing is fine with me!

while that is tough for her, I personally didn't think she added much to the brand, like many of the hired reps.

It looks like Bethanie Lori is still with Vince Camuto, and will appear again on QVC. She was not on for Vince Camuto's Big Deal, and hasn't appeared or called in for presentations since early March. But she posted on her social media pages that she'll be back on (via Skype) this Sunday.

Remember the old days with Steve from Clarks? He was so funny! But on to the serious question: are vendor reps today hired through companies which supply such reps? Doesn't Melissa Epps' husband's firm supply reps to the Q?
