Their "fashion days" usually just mean a lot of fashion programming that day.

Just before the new fall fashions are released, they always have a day or two of blitzing fashion shows where they show the same items with small markdowns multiple times in hope of getting rid of them. It seems obvious to me that if they actually wanted to get rid of them, a substantial markdown and one or two showings would do it. But I am not one of corporate geniuses who makes these decisions.

Is this like "bait and switch" ? QVC you're looking a little desperate. I find that it is best not to shop these "sales". If you can wait, the items that are sold out miraculously come back in stock, even though they say 'will not be back in stock' this year. I only shop an item after reading reviews and checking the visual review online for fit and style. This has saved me a lot of money in returns.
