That's nice that it is so simple for you [san antonio gal]. I live in a condo with a mailroom, not alwys secure, but, only USPS can use. The shipping starts with UPS, only sometimes the packages are delivered by UPS - which cannot access the mailroom. They were very good about always leaving in the lobby, but due to all the porch theft, they stopped and instead of trying again the next day, if not home, they will take it to a remote location for me to go pick-up.. and it is not just down the street. Sometimes UPS tranfers to USPS for delivery.
The old QVC told us if UPS was transferring to USPS, now NARVAR says it is out for delivery when it is possible it is being transerred. I've gotten a lot of out for delivery and nothing! So not knowing if it really is out for delivery, will I miss UPS, am I going to have to pick it up, is it going to the PO and will be delivered, hopefully, safely in a couple more days. So, yes, it is important for me to know when to expect delivery and by which agent.
