What's the big deal? Maybe the restaurant should do better cleaning. I think deep down, you're more angry that she was sitting at the bar, lol.

I think it would have been fine for Shawn to say she has noiticed in restaurants the ceilings are not clean as they should be and this would be a perfect tool for that, but to deliberately mention the name of a specific one was uncalled for. If it bothered her that much she should have asked to speak to the manager and told him or her.

I have NO issue with Shawn calling out the restaurant by name. I'd certainly want to know if I lived in the area and would potentially eat there.
No different than checking Food Establishment Inspection Reports online.

The A rating is for cleanliness and safe food handling. We have that letter rating system in NYC and if any of my restaurants ever got a B, I'd probably have a breakdown! It's so important

I try not to watch her very much but I did hear her mention that restaurant. And she also recently made a comment about the restaurant in the Bahamas (I don't remember the resort) when her husband was upset because his entree was over $200. Poor girl!

Chop House Grille restaurants are on the higher end and serve very good food and usually excellent service. Just sayin'.
Hopefully they were alerted and took care of those ceilings....not something me personally ever looks at when eating out.
Florida though does NOT post restaurant inspection grades on doors or windows. Plenty of residents think they should.

After I read the comment about ceilings, I remember looking up at those trendy black " open " space ceilings in supermarkets and other places.
Most of them are dusty / dirty: the dust accumulates and appears as a gray coating. Particles do float down with AC fans....folks get to breathe that air.
Maybe it's time for customers to point out that cleanliness problem. ( Since the wall is open, it could have other related problems. )

@happilyretiredgirl -- agree! Can't count the number of times she talks about not showering![]()
