Shared on Facebook that she is beginning a new chapter in her life today.  Said she will be on air in the 2 p.m. hour and will update with more details.

I always liked Sharon's presenting style.  I hope it is successful for her.

I always liked her. Funny to see this as I mentioned her only a week or so ago, in a discussion of hosts here.

She was one host I can say really did "walk the walk" when she "left to spend time with her family and as a mom." Been some years now, so, seems like she got to raise her small children, spend time as a mom, and now that they are older, nice to hear she has a new opportunity.

I'll be curious to see what she comes back to do...her own product? A product rep? We'll see...

***Update...her FB page...looks like in May she was on during Gourmet Holiday with Oak Valley Farms? Hm. I recall, in her later years on Q she did a lot of the food shows. Maybe today's will be something new.

I hope she won't be presenting food. I found her uncomfortable to watch when she was doinng food shows.

@Krimpette  -  She was known for her "interesting" reaction when testing the food.  Smiley Happy

Really, how so? I don't recall anythng being off, but I hardly recall any specifics of her shows then, just that she did a lot of food shows. She never put me off. I know some people get bothered with all the tasting, but I'm sure that's just part of the job in selling food, and they all do it.

Lol...I don't recall, but ok...I can guess. Too funny. Well, between happy dances and however else the hosts do it...they just HAVE to make that food look irresistable and sell it.

Some are over the top like Julia. It’s so dramatized it’s hard to believe.

Just let us know if you like it. No squealing or jumping needed.

I didn't recognize Sharon when I saw the post that she returns this afternoon.

Her current look, gone is the short pixie red hair that she used to have.

@threecees Wow! I don't think I would have recognized her from that photo.
