@av8tor There's nothing wrong with your question.
I remember the "50 in 50" shows where they would travel all over the US, featuring small businesses and craftspeople with their homemade wares.....what a difference THAT could've made for people after the plandemic!

Yes, It's always the same few & in particular one who just posted who is known as the "queen of the forum."
Sharks are in the ocean, but the snarks are on this forum. Fortunately, most posters are nice & simply like you giving their opinions, but some just wait to cut people down.

Don’t let them get to you @av8tor Just keep posting and ignore. The comments are more telling about them, and less about your post.

I do. They offered so many lovely items for the home years ago. Their offerings really stink anymore.

I agree with you @bestday When a response does not fit the situation just disregard.
The OP is talking about linen. How that can warrant a response about not providing “thought provoking content” it doesn’t make sense.
So don’t give it any weight. Move on.

I enjoyed those 50 in 50 shows. Before Amazon and the proliferation of on-line retailers, the Q was a great source for new and different products jewelry, beauty, houseware, clothing, electronics, exercise equipment, garden ...etc., etc.
I did buy linens, from the Q, but not table clothes. All my table clothes have been gifted to me by family members. And these days we seldom use table clothes. I have an upcoming function where I will use some of my holiday linens to jazz up the catering tables. I'm glad I have these table linen items, even if I don't use them often.

Thanks to all of you who have posted such positive comments. I have noticed some posts from the same people that are negative and sarcastic. Too bad that they are full of anger and insecurity.

I just set my holiday table with a beautiful wine damask tablecloth that I purchased from QVC about 10 years ago. It is machine washable and dryable and keeps on going. I miss the days when I could purchase everything I needed for the holidays from QVC. I guess I still can if we all want to show up in pajamas and slippers!
By the use of the word "linens" I assumed you were referring to bed linens. I don't remember the table linens, but I do remember the wonderful, excellent quality 100% cotton sheets from Northern Nights, the beautiful all-cotton Country Living quilts, and the excellent quality 100% cotton flannel blankets the Q offered so many years ago.

I never bought tablecloths from QVC but I did get a beautiful linen table runner from one of their Irish days that I love. I put it on my table to welcome the spring each year. I really miss the days of their quality cotton bedsheets. They had the best prices and I'm still using many of them, maybe 15 years later; they only get better with age.

I no longer watch QVC for more than a few minutes at a time, but I vividly remember Mary Beth selling those lovely table linens that would bead up liquids and never stain.
They were beautiful! I also miss the beautiful quilts they used to sell. So many lovely things I bought in the past are no longer sold.
Long ago, I did most of my holiday shopping on QVC, but those days are gone.
My TV stayed tuned to holiday programming in the background because it made me happy. I even missed them when they signed off. ![]()
No matter what anyone says, there was a different tone and feel to past programming. Especially at Christmas.
