Refunds and Returns since Fire

Got an email today telling me that they might not be able to honor my request for an exchange/refund on two packages shipped to Rocky Mount NC. They are doing all they can and will notify me within 7-10 days.

Re: Refunds and Returns since Fire

Here is QVC's statement posted 12/21:

Posted: December 21, 2021 Update on QVC Orders & Returns Impacted by the Rocky Mount Fire
We’re still working to understand the full impact of the fire on QVC orders and returns. However, here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions that you may find helpful:

Is my QVC order or return affected by the fire?
Currently, we’re reviewing individual orders, and we’re contacting customers whose orders have been impacted. If your order has been affected in any way, you’ll hear from us. There’s no need to contact Customer Service at this time.

Can I still use my Q Return Label if it says Rocky Mount?
Yes, please continue to use the label provided on QVC.com or within your package. Our carriers will reroute the return appropriately for processing of your refund.

Will my QVC return processing and refund be delayed?
Please expect, in some situations, for your refund to be delayed due to the fire. If you are returning an item and you choose to use our Q Return Label, we may be able to process your refund more quickly. Or, you can always send us your returns as usual and contact Customer Service with any questions.

I returned an item to Rocky Mount with a request for an exchange, will I receive it?
Unfortunately, no. We’re unable to issue an exchange for returns sent to Rocky Mount at this time. Our Customer Service team members can assist you in reordering the item if it’s available, and we will honor the original price at the time you purchased. Please give us a call at 1.800.367.9444, and we’ll be happy to help with your exchange request.

@Emeraldeyes70573    A refund should be no problem as they obviously have a record if it, but an exchange might be if the item is gone in the fire.

I think - I would hope - they'd issue a refund if they can't do an exchange.

Re: Refunds and Returns since Fire

I have a fabulous customer service story to share!

This was before the fire. I had two returns, one for Perricone neuropeptide cream and the other for smile active pens. They both were going to Rocky Mount. I decided to be proactive and had both packing slips, but since they were small I stuck them in the same box with one label, knowing I would be charged a return fee for each of them.

I did this on December 11.

A week later I was wondering about the status of my return and checked and it didn’t process yet. It had only been a week. The next morning I heard about the fire and was wondering, but didn’t want to appear insensitive about what everyone had gone through. So I decided to wait another week and see if I heard anything.

Much to my surprise, I got an email from QVC yesterday stating that the received the return request for the Smile Actives whitening pens, but no mention of the Perricone duo which was not cheap.

Since they initiated the email I decided to call customer service. The woman was SO NICE AND SO PROFESSIONAL! She offered to process both returns on the spot!

Now that’s service. Even more so because of everything that the staff has endured.

The call was answered in record time, too.

Great job!

I wish the hosts would stay on top of these corporate messages.  Amy was still freely encouraging the hosts' typical "free exchanges" mantra in her TSV kick-off show this morning.
