I'm not positive but I think the clearance pricing is more what I would think the original cost would be. When I've seen items with their clearance prices and see the "QVC price", I'm thinking something's amiss. I've seen a couple of fashion items that I originally considered but, when I see the original price, I know I never would've considered spending that price. Some of the Christmas items are the same.  I'll shop clearance at other retail options.

Then on top of it you pay shipping. I will stick with brick and mortar clearance.

have always thought the the Q has NO idea what clearance or sale really means---watched a tiny bit yesterday and  the hosts were  so dumbfounded and  amazed at what "excellent" prices things were marked down to---and just laughed---they are as brainwashed as the powers that be at the Q--will not be spending any $$ there.

The Mr. Christmas mini trees (set of three) are on clearance here at the Q for almost $29.00.  I saw the same tree by Mr. Christmas at WM for $2.98!  I was stunned at the price difference.  My sister and I looked the little tree over and it was exactly the same as we had seen presented just a day or so ago.  Plus, there is shipping attached to what you would order.  So, I could have bought 3 at WM for $9 or 3 at Q for $30 + s/h.  It was definitely a reality check.

Agree! I saw a pair of Clarks shoes the other day that piqued my interest. The Q sale price was a few dollars off plus $5.50 shipping. Looked elsewhere and found actual sale prices...but also free shipping. It is quite rare that QVC has better prices on things, it pays to shop around..especially considering most other places have discounted or free shipping....all the time, not just on random days.

I am not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

Many sales gimmicks on items, however there are some nicely discounted items such as a DB  faux fur jacket that I bought .

Just wish they would give a 20%-30% off coupon  to use ona just abt any item as HSN used to do.

Many of the items they're selling on "clearance", appear to be cheaply made and were probably specially manufactured to be sold at the clearance price.  Department stores have done this for years.
