Because it makes overpriced items affordable so more viewers are likely to take the plunge.....

 

But what's funny at one time QVC Execs were even thinking of doing away with Easy Pay since some customers were defaulting and already had the merchandise and it was difficult for QVC to get the money owed....but calmer heads prevailed and it was continued......
