I don't dontate to Goodwill any more because of this.  I now donate to a local Thrift store that the proceeds go to their animal rescue and shelter.  They appreciate everything.  I've even donate furniture and they come so quickly and they're so efficient.  Something is wrong with Good will.

@ScrapHappy   Most of what is donated to Goodwill and other thrift stores is thrown out.  It cost them a lot of money to get rid of donated items that they can't sell.

 

There is nothing wrong with Goodwill.  I often wonder why some people think someone  else would want their old things that are outdated that they wouldn't wear.  

Of course, many people do donate nice things that are appreciated and will sell fast.
