I've never watched QVC2 before.  I just wanted to check out it today because I'm in need of crop pants and I would really like to get some Quacker Factory ones.  It appears to me that "you're on your own."  Angel S. was doing it all, reading item numbers, saying how many sold and how many left...etc.  All the things a host would do.  Has it always been this way on QVC2?

Susan Graver just came on to host "her" show. Actually not so bad, because she isn't competing with a regular QVC host for attention.

But what is going on? Where are the regular hosts this afternoon?

This is a new way of doing business for some of the vendor pros.  They're so good they really don't need hosts.

I agree, just hadn't seen this before. I'm an in and out occasional QVC channel surfer. How long has it been going on?

I noticed that this afternoon too...checking out some clothes.

First Kim Gravel was on with her friend Amy (not the host) who works with her, then Angel from Quacker Factory came on with someone who works with her named John (he didn't say much).

Now Susan Graver is on and she certainly doesn't need any help....she's never at a loss for words!

Looks like the Q is trying to save some money with just the vendors and no hosts on Q2.

They just started having a few vendors do their own shows (without hosts) on Q2 a few weeks after they have brought back some live programming on that channel.

Just my own thoughts, but this may be in response to customers who have been complaining about all the reruns.  They can present live shows but don't have to use a host or the QVC studio.

So far, as far as I know, only a few vendors have done this.  I think it's not a bad concept.  Worth a try to see how it works out.

In my opinion, Susan Graver is doing a great job of hosting & presenting her items.  The show is moving quickly (which I like) and she is so pleasant and really knows her stuff.

I like this new format.

I am loving Susan Graver hosting her own show, she seems a lot calmer and she has shown a lot more items than when there is a host.  I like when they don't spend 15 minutes on 1 item.  They should continue with this format

Am I correct that Q2 and Q3 are going to end before long?

if so, maybe they are experimenting to see who and what drives sales.

This new method of operation is little more than a live infomercial.
