@Meowingkitty wrote:They need some new products desperately. Look at the Pom Pom London bags from the other day. Brand new and sold fast. Because it wasn't the same dozen vendors. Heck I even ordered one from the Pom Pom site and had it today. It took 3 days to get from London to Phoenix. If I ordered from QVC I'd still be waiting for it most likely. They need to revamp everything top to bottom. There are only so many computers, vacuums, lock and lock, temptations, D&C, Susan Graver, Kim Gravel pants and jackets a person can wear. Most of their clothing doesn't fit the lifestyle of the west. Polyester, scuba wear, doesn't work in 110 degree heat. They spend way to long on the TSV. All day gardening shows, cooking, clothing just bore people and you lose a lot of the audience because they aren't interested in whatever the event of the day.
I agree. Fyi, I always price check name brands. I've never found Q to be the least expensive.
I find Q to be lower MANY times. Just bought my daughter a Serta mattress..
$100 to $225 lower than all other sites for the Exact same item.
My Edge shopper compares all availability for me and Q is VERY often lower.
We had IN home delivery for free as well.
Got 4 lego sets for the kids for Christmas and Q was lower than Amz or Wally.
Just have to shop around...but it is NOT true that Q is always higher.

The sky isn't falling yet...and if it does...like it did with Sears, BBB, etc.....there will be other places I can shop.
Sears and BBB had enough time to look at how things were changing and did nothing to be competitive or catch up
That's true @jackthebear
My point is, however, that Sears had been around since 1886! It was a Retail GIANT, their catalog was in every home.....and whatever the reasons may be...they did fail.
And Failed hard.
We found other places to shop and will again if QVC fails.
It won't be the end of the retail world if TV shopping goes away.
