@Midmod doubtful unless you grew up in Northern Fl. but it was fun in the 70's and malls were just starting up back then and downtown actually had stores and they stayed open late on Thursday nights. Was fun.

It was my choice, I wanted to do it and my friends all did as well, they either worked at Dairy Queem, McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. Once we all turned 16 we got better jobs..lol.......
We all wanted our own money and wanted cars at 16,etc. My parents were fine with it as long as my grades didn't slip...
I had my first job during the holiday season at Hickory Farms when I was 15. At the age of 16, I worked at Burger King after school and on weekends because I wanted my own money. My mom was also okay with it until I received a "C" in chemistry, and then she made me quit. :-)

But I am fairly sure it was against the law for you all to work a late night shift. I also received overtime for coming in early on the weekend even though I was part time.

QVC Group has officially put the HSN property on the market. No indication of potential price, but it will likely add some nice cash to the corporate treasury and is one of QVC's few remaining real estate holdings.
About 67 acres with 9 separate buildings; fully zoned for most industrial and retail use as well as multi family development. Could entertain multiple buyers for separate parcels.

@Estellee I believe that was the post about Antonella's FB video a month or so ago. Sadly it was removed by the mods, as it became "political" was the reasoning. Antonella claims she has a "little birdie" who told her 1 male and 1 female host will retire at end of the year and she goes out of her way to say that the female host will make everyone sad.
It would be quite the DIG on my fave host, Rick! He has been there forever, so it would be cruel to say the female (Jayne, Jane, Pat, Leah, I speculate) would make many said, but NOT the male? I would be floored if she was speaking of Alberti for the male, as he is very BIG in the company and just started SMQ with Ali and I am sure is being compensated nicely.
Secondly, it is NOT David, as he has stated many of times addressing such ?s by public on social media about his retirement. Obvioously, there is NO "retirement" for new male hosts, Steve, John, & Justin. So my conculsion is that it was such a DIG by Antonella at Rick and I hope her "little birdie info" is BOGUS! Rick is my fave at QVC and I hope he has many more yrs under his belt, while QVC is still on air.
Antonella just reminds me of such a disgruntled hocus pocus witch that can't STOP talking badly about QVC. I wish she would just GO AWAY already!

@QVCTVSpree Her post created quite a buzz and I was trying to figure out who she was talking about. For some reason I was thinking Rick although I would hate to see him go now. Also I was thinking Leah who is definitely one of my favorites, she will have 30 years later this year.

People and families are suffering . It is not their fault . Yes, we have been threw this before. What would you do if it was your family? A loss of employment is everything . This time is not good for all of us.
God help us all .
