hi @Retiredonthebeach

are you referring to todays TSV? if so, i have others and just one light has ever gone out. in fact, i have never had any lights go out at all. if they fail to light or are very dim, just replace the batteries.

good thing about getting these today is is that they are covered by the QVC holiday return policy. you will have through january 2019 to return them. you can basically use them for almost five months to see how they perform.
