Yes, that's why I stopped spending money here.

Yes.  They raise prices after a "free shipping " event.  They have to make up the loss one way or another.  Shipping is a cash cow for QVC.

Yes on many fashion (brand names).  They do have decent prices for some general items, but I don't shop full price for items such as Logo.  And I simply haven't seen where Dooney handbags or Barefoot Dreams are worthy of the price.  I stopped shopping with them a year ago, when I was retiring, only returned recently because I needed some lighter end of the season clothes for a trip to warmer places and everything in my area is winter wear.

I can find many of the kitchen items locally with better prices.  And Amazon seems to be leading in many brands at lower prices.

The thing that adds to the price is of course the shipping.  I can shop Chicos and get free shipping, recently bought somee Life is Good tshirts with free shipping over $49.  And many online shoes ae free shipping and returns.

I feel that QVC prices have increased over the past year.

Most of the time when I think a price is too high, it's because I wouldn't want the item at any price.  Doesn't mean the price is too high -   all the thousands of shoppers who buy what I pass up must have felt the price was okay.  Even though I'm at a very fortunate part of my life -  I can afford more now than I could years ago  -  ironically, I want much less.   I feel close to no peer pressure to buy just because someone else tells me I should.

And I feel no pressure not to buy just because someone tells me the price is too high , especially when they don't tell me where I can get the SAME item for less elsewhere.

QVC was never cheap but with so many other outlets now offering merchandise so much cheaper the difference is really noticeable.  QVC's execs dont seem to "get it".  Theres no loyalty program, no coupons, no "Kohls Cash" type of incentives to buy from QVC.  The EZ pay offers dont cut it unless you are buying merchandise like a computer.  WHo needs 5 Ez pays on a set of scissors ?
