Every time a host talks to someone on air they ask the person to "like" their facebook page. I wonder what the incentive is for them to get the most "likes" on their page. Do they win prizes or is it a popularity contest between hosts........does anyone know? It's actually kind of annoying lol.

For QVc it is free advertising and ability to be in constant contact with customers. I use FB to keep in touch with my family who live far away. When I was new I ""liked"" an ad and then was inundated with pages of stuff for sale on that site. This I do not want from QVC. I have no need to be subjected to constant sales pitches and have to slog thru them to see the family stuff.
