@fingerlakesny Well, I'm kinda with you on that.  That's why I went internet searching to try to find out about it.

That's why I posted several articles I came upon when googling it.

Someone here a few minutes ago posted (paraphrasing) "Why does QVC have 2 channels".  

So, I remember watching a news show where they were talking about how very large QVC (that's what they called the 'group' of companies) had become.  The newscaster said it had become the 3rd largest company behind Walmart and some other company.

I just find it interesting that (in their quest to compete against Amazon) they've been able to become one such large company without (what seems to me) very little fanfare.

The parent company that owns QVC already owned a percentage of HSN. Last July they announced they were buying the rest of HSN. I'm presuming the deal has been completed.

I wonder if QVC will send an e-mail out explaining what has changed.

What would you have them say in that email?
What has changed for anyone here?
This is a business deal that effects the employees at both places, but I'm at a loss to see how this should effect me.

Apparently Mike George, Q CEO, has said their will be no change for the viewers.  QVC didnt buy HSN.  Liberty Interactive now owns both of them as well as Zulily, but they'll all operate independently with their own CEOs.

When Sandra was on they split-screen with Shannon on HSN.  Seemed awkward to me as Shannon referred to Sandra as "friend."  Would they have even known each other before?
