I'm watching the It show right now, and heavens! That lighting is harsh! It's not helping to advertise the quality of the makeup either. The shadows are intense, the highlighting is way too bright, and some of the completed looks look off or muddy. The lighting is not helping to sell the makeup.

@KaliaMonet. Interesting comment - I have had some problems with purchases of clothing - colors being so different when they arrived to what they appear on t.v. having to return them as they appeared dull compared to t.v.

As you say probably the lighting being too 'good' throwing everything off?

Looks fine to me.  Maybe it's your TV.

It's definitely not my TV. It's the studio lighting. My TV does not have the magical ability to turn on bright lights in a studio. If it did, I would turn the lights off.
