Does anyone else have issues with the way QVC is shipping your orders?

I placed an order on multiple items on March 4th. The label was created on March 6th and to date QVC has not given the package to UPS.

What is going on with their shipping practices lately.

More than 6 days after an order is placed & it has not shipped yet. In my opinion that is no way to run a business.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} That will probably be my last order until the christmas holiday

It's hit or miss with the Q's S&H any more, I wonder if it's what's you order that determines how fast it goes out. I think you should not be charged until the item is delivered.

I have just been on the phone with customer service , USPS and I have had it. No one is helpful anymore. A package I returned with a qvc prepaid label never made it. Basically the rep said this is your problem. I sent some items back today UPS and will NEVER use the prepaid label again. I will continue to find a human at USPS to talk to that knows something. This is the second issue in 2 months I have dealt with . A return for several hundred dollars was credited to the wrong card and the Q would not make it right. I may be through with this type of shopping.

It seems that this is getting to be a bigger and bigger problem. I just did a ""rant"" on QTalk earlier about these same problems called ""I've finally been pushed over the edge""- if you're interested in details about my frustrations with shipping to and from...I even resorted to filing a complaint with the post office because QVC's shipping agent left my return pkg sitting in the P.O. for 7 days...I will not be making any more QVC purchases unless they bring back the bootcut How Smooth jeans.

I placed an order with HSN on Monday March 3, and my package arrived on Saturday, March 8. I haven't had service that good from QVC in years.

as baker said....its hit or miss with the shipping....I find the jewelry items take longer to receive and to return....not sure why....unless they are under staffed...

I have learned to just wait it out....nothing I can do... other then shop someplace else...which I prefer not to do....

something to think about....the q's customer base is so huge....that the few, on here, who threaten to never shop at the q. again...will not hurt them...

I agree with other posters. Jewelry purchases seems to take much longer than all other items. Most other items come to me on a timely basis. Jewelry can take as long as a week or more.

Please make sure you do. The QVC pre-paid return shipping label is supposed to be insured. See their return instructions using the Q label:

"If you're using the Q Return Label, remove the label and affix it to your package. Detach and enclose the return form of your pack slip using the perforated line. Keep the remaining pack slip until your return is processed. Return the package to one of the carriers listed on the Q Return Label. Charges for the Q Return Label appear right on the label. Your return fee is deducted from your refund, or in the event of exchange, charged to the credit card used for the original order, or for check orders deducted from merchandise credit. Purchasing insurance is not necessary because it's included with the label charges. If a return is due to QVC error, there's no charge for use of the Q Return Label."

I have to add though, USPS is so bad with their service too. Too slow and lost a few of my packages (not from Q). I created a UPS account and use UPS as much as I can (for anything actually), especially if the shipping charge will come out close to what the QVC pre-paid return label amounts to (or even if maybe $2 more). But --- UPS is faster (delivered in 2-3 days ground shipping rate) and less headache for me. Also, the first $100 amount insured is for free. For heavier items or for items needing more insurance, if I have the luxury of time of waiting at least 12-15 days before my card is credited for my return, I resort to the Q return label.

The price of shipping is outrageous. To ship a lipstick they charge 5.95
