I get both QVC.  And QVC  PLUS on my cable system. I have noticed that on PLUS everyone looks shorter and fatter. Things that look like they might be attractive on the regular channel, often look  dumpy on the other. I don't know why this is and I wondered if anyone else has noticed this.

Could it be that your screen is set for HD?  I don't think that channel is in HD.

Thank you I never thought of that, I just thought everything was in HD these days.

I have noticed this as well.   It has saved me money because I don't buy.  I am a XL and it shows I would look much worse. I do not have HD on my old TV but I have watched on a 60in TV with HD and the look was the same.  I only see that on PLUS.  Maybe I should do all of my buying on PLUS.  ;-}

Boy, I wish that were true. Nope, a lot of smaller channels aren't available in HD and I really hate that. As you mention, it makes things look wrong. I get some channels in HD, but the cable company only makes the non-HD versions of shows available OnDemand, so if I miss one or my DVR doesn't record it, I have to watch the non-HD version and it doesn't look good. It also moves alters the size so that any text on the screen, like a person's name or subtitles, get cut off and become illegible. At the rates I pay for cable, that's not okay with me.

They stretch the screen to fit the HD width.  You are correct.  It makes everyone look fat!!  I can't watch non-HD shows on my TV anymore because of that.  It's also blurry.

@QVCkitty1, I know exactly what you mean. I have the same thing, but it is not with Q Plus; it's with Evine. Everybody looks real short and heavy. I hear the models say they're 5'9" tall, so I know it's not the people. I could never figure that out,either. It sure makes watching fashion shows interesting.

My Q Plus is not on HD and aside from that, they look normal. It's just weird. If I ever have the cable guy in, I'll check mine out.

I have two different TVs and everything looks fine on Q Plus.  As someone else suggested, you can change the screen size in your settings.
