I’ve been a QVC loyalist for 30 years. However, due to the unprofessionalism and antics of several of the hosts HSN has become my “go to” shopping channel.

Yes, I’m speaking to You - Kerstin, Alberti, Rachel B., Jennifer & Jane

HSN - so far - professionalism without being obnoxious

Although I have not really checked out HSN that much yet, I am no longer letting these low life QVC characters into my shopping life. The real insanity was started and is constantly fueled by one player in particular, Mally Roncal.

Agree - who decided Mally would be an asset to QVC?

It's been very clear for a long time Q wants the vibe of daytime

talk shows - Hoda, Tamron, Kelly, Drew, - loud, we're your friends

everything is funny, etc. Don't know why these Q viewers continue to watch and complain.

Why do you?

I MUCH prefer HSN over QVC, which I rarely watch for more than a couple of minutes and never when certain hosts are on.

HSN has more professional hosts, more varied products, better sales, notification of when a "favorites" has dropped in price, etc., etc., etc.

IMO, QVC has gone way downhill in the past 10 years while HSN has improved.

While I agree things do get a bit out of hand these days on the Q and there are hosts that I just can't take (and I am fairly tolerant) I would miss the channel if it wasn't on anymore and I certainly would miss chatting on this forum.  I still watch the Q at times and I like to watch HSN too, generally depends on the programming and who's hosting.

I primarily watch HSN.  I do not buy much clothing from TV, but I like the hosts on HSN and the products I buy a fair amount too.  I enjoy the Beekman, Korres, Perlier shows, and buy products for my use and for gifts.  I have never once been offended by any host there.  And even when they want to lighten up, it is always in the bounds of good taste.

I really don't watch either channel much these days---both have their good and bad--HSN seems not to subscribe to the inane host antics as much as QVC----HSN can get a little  wacky with some of their hosts too--am thinking mainly of AMY--she drives me nuts and I think they don't do any kitchen/cooking shows very well. Not a fan of their fashions either. and really--would not miss either one--I would miss the boards here tho.

I too prefer HSN over qvc programming. HSN just does it better. Very few hosts are watchable on qvc, so I don’t watch them. TPTB that decided loud obnoxious, crude and crass hosts were the way to go should be locked in a room with Mally for a few hours.
