I often purchase or receive as gifts the various gift cards often sold in many of the local stores.....example Macys,
Kohls, Visa, food stores, book stores, Sears, Nordstrom, etc. .......................i often wondered why QVC hasn't offered a gift card through this process.............................i know they do one over the computer.......but i think their sales would increase with having a gift card displayed in local stores...................................maybe there is a reason they don't do this that i am not aware of.......

No real idea why they don't sell cards elsewhere, but I do know that if I'm buying a gift card (almost never do), I'd do it directly from the company.

A QVC gift card is thru a third party. You can certainly order on line (which I haven't done). The last gift card I purchased was for my sister last year. Her birthday is 12/17 and I ordered it before Thanksgiving in order to get it to her on time. Well, long story short....she didn't get it on time. It took that long. I called QVC to inquire where it was, but they can only send you to the third party that handles it. They couldn't give any information, not even when it was shipped. Never again.

I've seen QVC gift cards in my local supermarkets as well as Rite Aids. I live in Philly. Maybe its a regional thing??

In the past, I've sent QVC gift cards (electronically) to several of my forum BFF's and there was never a problem with them receiving or redeeming them.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again!
They used to do a 'special' on them around the holidays, where you could get $100 worth of gift cards for $75....not sure if they still do that.

I can't give a QVC card as a gift because no one I know shops at Q or even is aware of it. Even my DD's wouldn't be interested.

Good news! QVC does offer gift cards through many grocery chains and anywhere gift cards are purchased.
