It’s not hard at all to stream QVC. I use the remote, press speaker and say YouTube QVC and presto I’m all set!!

Can’t get any easier than that! 🥴

We don’t pay for tv of any kind.. cable or satellite. Haven’t paid a dime in over 4 years!

HUGE waste of money when STREAMING is FREE!!! 🤗

@RescueLover Well we still pay for cable.  I like to be able to flip channels at any time to see what else is on.  I find a lot of interesting programs that I would not know about otherwise had I not have the ability to do that.  So for us, Cable is NOT a waste of money.

I agree.  I'll keep my cable as long as I can.  Plus I read an article that people are missing the ease of cable and being able to flip through and look at whatever you want.  They predicted a comeback - not as far as still calling it "cable" but in large bundles being offered that makes it the same as cable.  Anyway, I love my cable situation and I'm keeping it.

Hi! @Puppy Lips 🤗

Sorry for upsetting you, I didn’t mean to when I said that. I’ll explain…

We get over 100 channels, movies, music, Youtube etc without paying a dime. We have Samsung TVs.

AND we have Roku on our tvs. so we can watch ALL the QVC channels. Once you buy the Roku (I think each of ours was around $50) then there’s no cost to use.

I love YouTube so i often go back and forth between YouTube (watching podcasts like Shawn’s, etc) and QVC Live TV programming on YouTube!!

And like @Kachina624 said you can use voice command for everything. Or scroll through the channels like you mentioned.

We were paying $120 a month for cable and it’s Absolutely freeing not having that bill. We’ve saved a ton since cutting that totally unnecessary expense. 🤗

@RescueLover We DO have a Roku and we DO stream.  But I can't see myself watching QVC that way.  Like I said, it is my flip to channel as I rarely watch a whole show.  Flip to QVC and cr@p, JT is hosting, flip back.  Flip to QVC and cr@p, Mally is yakkiing away, flip back.  I can easily look to see what is playing on all my favorite channels, or see what I recorded to watch at a later time.  We may get rid of cable at some point, but I like what I have and the way it is now.

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. Margaret Mead

Re: Q running ads on Q re where to.Stream

Hi! @santorini 🤗

That surprises me because everyone we know say, Why didn’t I make the change a long time ago! And I feel we were late getting into the game 4 years ago. Most of our friends started way before us.

We still have menus to flip through, so not sure what that article is referring to. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And we can program in our Favorite channels in a separate menu too.

My husband flips through the channels and uses his favorite channel menu and I like using the voice command to channel surf.

Love using the voice command feature on the remote for questions like… when did this movie come out, tell me about the actors, etc etc.

And even what’s the weather going to be tomorrow! 😂

@RescueLover QVC won't exist on Cable as it is now as a station. It will be streaming on different streaming platforms.

Re: Q running ads on Q re where to.Stream

Hi can anyone tell me ...I don't have cable, internet connection, router, roku etc nor a smart tv. I get hsn wvc over the air. So I guess I won't have viewing acccess. I do have unlimited data on my phone and that's how I place my order but I guess I won't be able to view if they go completely just streaming. Thanks in advance for anybody that can give me advice. Stay warm everyone

@QFashion, I wouldn't be concerned about your viewing access. I suspect as long as QVC and HSN have live streaming, then they will also be able broadcasting over the air. Now whether your market continues to carry the channel, that's up to the owner of those stations.

Over the air broadcasting isn't going away anytime soon. I believe it would take an Act of Congress.

Many don't realize that in this county there are almost 10% of households without internet access. That explains both QVC and HSN still displaying a phone number on screen in which to call in your order.

Many cable stations are being dumped by their carriers. Dont you read whats being reported in the news?  Cable is less and less

profitable as people are dumping their more expensive Cable providers, Verizon and Comcast for the less expensive Streaming option. The Q report last quarter said Q was struggling to make costs. They pay a HUGE amount to be carried by the big Cable companies. Q won't be a cable station in the future. It will be on streaming platforms.

Re: Q running ads on Q re where to.Stream

@ellaphant, no where in my post did I mention cable.

And yes, I read several newspapers and am aware of what's going on with cable.

My post deals solely with over the air broadcasting. Over the Air utilizing a simple antenna. Free TV. No cable. What many do when they've cut the cord. I've watch QVC, HSN and other shopping channels for over thirty years using an antenna attached to the back of my televisions. I watch it the same way those with no internet access do. Their live streaming is the same content at the same time being shown over the air.

Re: Q running ads on Q re where to.Stream

I can barely tolerate watching Q now with all its so-called entertainment. It would have to be some super duper special to get me to stream for a few minutes.
