[ Edited ]

Hello Folks!

Now that we have had a "grand time" with this new format....let's take a peek and see if the TV version for the weekend is any better.......

Image result for cats on ipad
Now what would be a better way to "celebrate" and participate in the new Forum format than with your new Ipad....How appropriate that QVC will feature INNOVATIONS IN ELECTRONICS---APPLE PRODUCTS!!!!

Image result for cats on ipad    Image result for cats on ipad   Image result for cats on ipad

Purchase these and think how much fun you will have "hearting" your favorite  posts!!!! ---or  maybe NOT!

These fascinating shows will be presented all day SATURDAY for your viewing "pleasure" with shows at---

12:00 AM -  1:00 AM
  6:00 AM -   7:00 AM
  2:00 PM -   3:00 PM
  5:00 PM -   6:00 PM
  8:00 PM -   9:00 PM
10:00 PM -   11:00 PM

I'm sure y'all will enjoy all those "wonderful" presentations!!!

From 8 AM to 10 AM of course it's "fashion" with AM STYLE!!!  Time to purchase those purrfect summer fashions---

Next from 10 AM to 2 PM ---it's 4 big hours of SATURDAY MORNING Q---featuring what else Apple products.....

I don't think that's the right kind of Apple--but perhaps a more pleasurable experience!

From 3 PM to 5 PM it's that casual style with DENIM AND COMPANY---

A Saturday regular makes another weekend appearance it's fashion footwear from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with CLARKS!

Then get ready for vagabond fashions with LOGO from 9 PM to 10 PM

Viewers are in for a very special treat.  You remember those glamorous shows from Italy with the beautiful backdrops and scenery and Lisa wearing a gorgeous gown --- the gown was talked about as much ass the jewelry!!!! But as we all know, Lisa has moved on so the show will be somewhat different---Tune in from 11 PM to 12 AM for VICENZA STYLE --- live from Padua, Italy---ALL SPECIAL DEALS!

One interesting side note about Padula is one of their festivals----

A special event is the Omelette of 1,000 eggs - "Frittata delle mille uova" (10 August). Reenactment of the celebration where the Carthusian Monks created a 1,000-egg omelette for Charles V's visit to the Certosa. Special giant iron cooking "pan" erected in 1996 expressly for this purpose.

I bet that foodies across QVC would hope that one day David V can host the reenactment for QVC live from Italy but only if the omelette includes bacon or mac 'n cheese----

            *************************************************************************************************************

And Sunday is FATHER'S DAY........and a happy one to all the dads!!!

Who is your favorite TV dad----pick these or nominate your own---

Jim Anderson in FATHER KNOWS BEST---

One of my personal favorites Ward Cleaver in LEAVE IT TO BEAVER

Mike Brady in the BRADY BUNCH

Ricky Ricardo in I LOVE LUCY

Howard Cunningham in HAPPY DAYS

Andy Griffith in the ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW

Herman Munster in THE MUNSTERS

Image result for the munsters

Of course, there are so many others to chose from.....name your favorite.....

Getting back to the Q-----  I'm sure many of you will be tuning in to the VICENZA STYLE --- ITALIAN JEWELRY---ALL DAY SPECIALS from 11 PM on Saturday until 12 AM on SUNDAY!!!!

There will only be TWO live shows from Italy---the one I mentioned from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM, and 8 PM until 12 AM!!!!

Here's a blast from the past......

And I'm sure you will be "thrilled" with some jewelry "favorites".....That's right folks---bronze and resin filled jewelry .......Oh I wonder if
someone will jump on the jewelry during one of the shows, to prove the strength and sturdiness of resin --why you will be on the edge of your couch for that one!!! And I wonder if our "favorite buyer" will be discussing all his personal favorite pieces....and all the favors he called in to bring you these great deals.....

Oh just another fun weekend brought to you by the Q....Well at least the jewelry show on Sunday is different and a welcome change from ipads and electronics on Saturday!!!

Whatever you do---have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!!

Whether it be by the pool---

Or in your garden----

Or watching baseball---(that won't be me)....

Or maybe watching a soccer game---

Meanwhile I bet QVC's Tech Team will be hard at work hopefully implementing our suggestions for the Forum.....

@circles  Hi circles glad you found us!!! And glad you enjoyed the post.

I do like Antonella and you can tell she really loves jewelry.... ...... it will be interesting to see what changes they make to the show without LR.  And I hope they show more of the host and vendors and less of the buyer.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Rebecca here...

Well, Spurt, I see you decided to try an update...  Good for you.  As always, some very cute pictures...  Loving the kitties in the closet and the bunny, among others...  And yes, I suppose the Sunday jewelry show beats the alternative (would've been a coin toss between Dyson or Vitamix) but despite that massive omelet, I'll likely skip the costume jewelry extravaganza...  Besides, though I like her, a little of the scheduled host goes a long way... and a very little of the buyer is well, way more than enough...  As for the shows from the studio, I'm guessing they'll include my ultimate, uh, favorite... and probably will feature the same array of bronzo, etc, we've seen before...  If the weather at all cooperates (and it's been a muggy, hot and largely pretty icky week here in our Nation's Qwapitol, with a fair number of showers), I might give the pool a shot, return some things to DSW and possibly watch some of the college world series, as I've been doing most of the week...  Each to their own, Spurt, but those college boys are SWEET...

All that said, I have to add, it's a bit of a drag to not really be able to tell it like it is...  Having to gild every possible lily and veil one's comments does rather stink, but hey, it's the Rebecca way...

Well in honor of my southern roots I have to go with Andy for Bestest Dad!  I was cruizing around UK site and saw a blog write up on the Apple IPad, someone remarked about the small storage (16G) and wanted bigger, better and newer electronics offered.  Wonder if they are bringing to us what they didn't sell there?

@stevieb

Hey REBECCA----Pollyanna here......and I just want to encourage everyone to play the "glad game".....Pollyanna's philosophy of life centres on what she calls "The Glad Game" an optimistic attitude she learned from her father. The game consists of finding a silver lining in the darkest clouds, something in everything to be glad about. Now isn't this a wonderful attitude to have? Cat Wink

Well I'm glad you liked the photos---but this site is now sure picky about the photos it will accept but at least under this new system you can even edit after a reply is posted, in the old system once there was a reply your out of luck and could no longer edit.  So that is one positive I'm "glad" about Cat Wink....LOL!!!!

But oh yes I had to be careful and word everything so diplomatically and some things I wanted to say I went ahead and removed.....yep I concur like walking on egg shells.....

Well we've gotten some on and off "monsoon" type showers and a terrible lightning/thunder storm at 4AM.....and then some showers this morning....but it's SUPPOSED to clear up with a smaller chance of showers and sunshine next week......but it's been awfully HUMID!!!....But that tropical storm did not affect us as much as they anticipated it was more northeast of us.....

I actually got some spring...errr....summer cleaning started.  I cleaned out my pantry and threw a bunch of stuff I had in a small storage cabinet within my pantry---mostly arts and crafts stuff....just kept the things I use....and organized all the food and stuff on all the shelves.  And I went through my bedroom closet from h e l l---well kinda/sorta...at least I went through my clothes and have a bag of stuff to donate...but sooooooooo much more to do on the closet......it's a bit overwhelming!

This weekend I need to go to Target and get some rubbermaid containers and get a couple things at Lowe's for my patio...and I'm still on the hunt for that kitchen rug---they actually had a braided kitchen rug at Stein Mart but wrong color and it was just a tiny bit too big---GREAT PRICE..oh well the search continues.....

It sounds like you have some fun things planned for this weekend and I hope the weather holds up for you so you can enjoy your pool time .....if not, well enjoy your baseball---I think the Texas representative from the College World Series is TCU....the poor horned frogs don't get any publicity it all goes to either the University of Texas or Texas A&M......40 days until NFL training camp....Cat WinkCat LOL

Take care!

Re: Q DID WHAT?--An Apple a day & CIAO--Weekend Preview 6/20 and 6/21

Beginning of article about Ontairo,CA...  maybe west coast customers might be getting items faster in the near futre...  Long article and still not final deal yet but it looks like they are looking to store and have ability to ship from west coast too.  It would be nice to get items faster than the 7-10 business days, which is my usual ship time.

As seen on TV, and shipped from Ontario?

QVC is in talks to open a giant warehouse here that might ship $500 million or more in merchandise annually to home shoppers.

If built, the warehouse would total 1 million square feet, roughly the size of four Wal-Mart Supercenters, and would employ more than 900 people.

@vicalynn  Hey LYNNSY---  Even though Ward Cleaver is my favorite, I wouldn't have a qualm about Andy, I enjoyed that show and it did have some funny episodes....

As for the UK and the Ipad....From some of the comments and reviews I think the Q brings outdated electronics to both the U.S. and International channels as well.....And in their financial reports it appears that electronics are NOT selling well ANYWHERE.  Yet isn't it curious that they devote an entire day on a weekend no less, to what--electronics---it doesn't make sense! I like Andy Griffith, but looking back at Leave it to Beaver, I think the Ward sometimes put down June.  And I like Ricky Ricardo, bless his heart for putting up with Lucy's shenanigans!.  How about the father on The Waltons?  And I liked him as the father of Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS.  And, of course, there is Tom Selleck on Blue Bloods.  The man still has "it" at age 70!

Re: Q DID WHAT?--An Apple a day & CIAO--Weekend Preview 6/20 and 6/21

Hey Spurt, so glad to find a little bit of normal in this miasma of ... well, I'm not sure what this is now. I can't find the Scrapbooking forum so I guess it is gone which makes me sad. What doesn't make me sad is your weekend preview - not just great pics, but history lessons too! Loved the LOGO kitty & the fat kitty in the yellow outfit. I have days when I feel like that :-) I have a Stein Mart very close by so I might ho see if they have a braided rug that will work for me.

Katie Scarlett, you beat me to Ralph Waite as favorite father on the Walton & NCIS & I liked Ricky Ricardo too - do you remember the episode where he told Little Ricky the story of Little Red Riding Hood in
Spanish. It was so funny!

Great weekend to be indoors this weekend so I will be watching baseball (MLB & CWS ) plus the girls, er, womens soccer. I enjoy the big tournaments the World & European Cup. Its going to be 114 degrees tomorrow! I will have to go rinse off the horse (he has a fan & mister too) & help the owner feed - she's 73 & I can't let her feed by herself in this heat - but that's as much as I want to be outside. Speaking of "as", was that a Freudian slip where you were discussing Lisa & does the new forum let us use words like "ass "?? :-D
