I am having a problem with tracking numbers. An item I ordered has a UPS number and a USPS number. The UPS number states that the item will be delivered by USPS. I keyed in the USPS tracking number, and received a red error message- that the number was not valid. How can we track our items if the numbers aren't correct?

If the item is still in a warehouse or with UPS, the USPS number may be valid but not recognized by the system yet. USPS tracking is notoriously bad. What does the UPS tracking number say about the current location?

I would like an answer to this as well. I have never been able to track a USPS package through QVC's tracking # which is linked directly to USPS!!!!
UPS tracking #s have always worked manually & through QVC.

I don't know how there are 2 different tracking numbers. Some items gets shipped UPS & they transfer it to the Post Office to deliver. Did you try both tracking numbers? Did you receive a shipping confirmation email that lists 1 tracking #? I assume you are talking about a package shipped to you from QVC? If that's the case go to your account online & see what it shows. I have tracked packages with a USPS tracking number that cannot find the number because sometimes their tracking is not updated.

Sometimes if you copy & paste the USPS tracking # & go direct to the USPS website they will show more tracking then what it shows when you click on the link that takes you to QVC. I have a package that was shipped from some place else by USPS & the tracking # is not found yet. Either because the package actually has not been picked up yet but a tracking# was assigned or USPS just does not have their system updated.

I am trying to track returns. Q says no info ,yet I have e-mail from post office saying the got it.
Like a jerk I deleted those e-mails ![]()
Honestly ,I don't know why I shop here,they are terrible about everything. Habit I guess,old habits are hard to break ![]()

I had a return that the tracking showed Q had received it. I waited 4-5 days & they still showed they did not have it. I called & talked to a supervisor that took my tracking info. & a credit was issued about another 3 business days later. You should call C.S. & give them your tacking info that shows they received it. CS did not help me at first I had to talk to a supervisor to get it taken care of.

UPS has a service called UPS surepost. It travels thru the UPS system (in my case til it hits my town) then it is turned over to the post office to deliver. One way to tell, is if you track the UPS tracking number, when it brings up the item, look to the right side of the page. It says shipped by, if it says UPS ground, then UPS delivers to address, if it says UPS surepost, then they will deliver it to the local post office to finish delivery. FedEx also has this service, it is called smartpost. Hope this helps.

I went to the Order Status page, and found the UPS tracking number. I keyed that number in on the UPS site. I received a message that the item was transferred to USPS for delivery, and received a different tracking number for USPS. When I keyed in that USPS tracking number, I received an error message that there is no record for that USPS number, and that it is not a valid number. That is where I am now. I have no idea when or if the item will be delivered by USPS.
The last time this happened, a few weeks ago, my item was broken into little pieces. UPS gave it to USPS, and it arrived broken.

The last 2 orders I received were clothing items. They were sent by USPS. The tracking number was missing the first 2 numbers, and I received an invalid tracking number message. I sent an email to the QVC Social Team, and they provided me with the missing 2 numbers. That worked correctly, and I want to thank the Social Team for giving me the correct information.
