Re: Posters Self-Moderating vs. Deletion

While I agree the hair remark was snarky and uncalled for, why do so many people want the Q police so involved in these forums? If comment is made that you don't like, click ignore or leave that string of comments. Unless it's totally egregious, let it go. There are always others who will set the OP straight.

I saw the post. At the time, no one had responded yet. I had hoped it would remain that way, as the poster seemed to just want to start a fight. At least, that's the what it seemed like to me. Otherwise, why post something like that?

Usually if the OP has only under 10 posts, they are trying in their trollish way to get something started. The best way to stop a troll is to not respond. I have seen posters come in and slam the OP with nice remarks and the troll does not win.

Re: Posters Self-Moderating vs. Deletion

The forum is very dull since the moderation, that being said, I would not start a post about any thing personal or controversial because the responders can be so mean. I think you can have a difference of opinion and not destroy a poster with your comments.

Re: Posters Self-Moderating vs. Deletion

Poster #18 you are 100% correct and if you read on here long enough you know exactly who the posters are who start the threads. I have said over and over that all the hosts are people who are trying to earn a decent pay, and try hard to do their jobs well. They don't deserve to be having nasty things said about them. As far as the vendors go they also are people trying to show a product and trying to earn a wage. There are some on here who would ship some of the hosts to another planet if they could.

If the point of the post was simply to criticize the rep and had little or nothing to do with the Keurig, then "interesting and informative" seems to translate to the typical cat-calling and name-calling between the usual suspects saying the same very predictable things. I fail to view that as either interesting or informative other than in a train-wreck sort of way.

I agree with this.

I agree with the OP's take. If you want to talk deletion, visit the ViewPoints forum. Not much can be discussed or debated or argued as most get deleted with the strict moderators. Sure we sling mud, pull hair, scratch and bite. But we get to post what our experiences have been and our opinions - that's not what is happening now. It's very dull and cutesy.

Don't take this the wrong way, as I don't mean to be rude or anything, but it wouldn't dull and cutesy if people wouldn't sling mud, pull hair, scratch and bite.
