Re: Please fire whomever is responsible for automatic video

There was no option on my iPad, but that's thoroughly beside the point.  I don't appreciate a blaring salespitch that I did not request.....I should not have to look for "the magic button".  But maybe they got the message, because I just went on the website and pulled up a bunch of products, and they all were set back to the way it used to function.  Sorry my complaint upset so many "happy shoppers" (not sorry)

@qhound   I believe the person responsible for damaging eardrums programmed the latest iPad upgrade and doesn't work for QVC.    I have encountered excessive volume on many sites after the most recent installation.  Very annoying.

I have the box to uncheck and I've done so numerous times.  It keeps rechecking itself I guess.  LOL

@qhound

So glad it's now working for you! But was it really necessary to insult other "happy shoppers" on your way?

Other posters only respond with their results to help others find a reason that it may not be working for them?

In this case,. it seems to be that mobile devices are having this problem more that other devices.

No need to ream other posters trying to help.....

Have a great life.

ETA: I'm not sorry either.

All you have to do is UNCHECK the box that says 'Play Video Automatically'

Left side under the video picture.

Super easy

@qhound

Sorry, but this is just ridiculous.   @RespectLife  told you where to find the Uncheck automatically playing video.  So, rather than someone losing their job (seriously?) why don't you just learn how to use the board?

Or better yet ...  why not just MUTE your device?    This is not difficult to learn.

Calm down!

Re: Please fire whomever is responsible for automatic video

Isn't the whole point that it should not play automatically?
If someone wants to play the video, it should be their option to play it when they're ready, not when QVC thinks they're ready.

We shouldn't be at the mercy of having to adjust our devices especially since not all of them have identical options at hand.

It's QVC that's out of step here.

Although firing is a step too far in the other direction.

@qhound has a point.
