When will I ever learn not to order from Q.

My package was delivered to a post office downstate from where I live and then It says it was delivered to me on the same day to my mailbox.  I would think it would have taken at least a day to reroute it.   I did not get it.  I know this is the post office but why does this keep happening with QVC packages and not HSN,  Amazon, Walmart, Ulta, etc etc.....

Re: When will I ever learn not to order from Q.

it does happen with those other vendors too. It really is the post office, this year I have had Ebay sellers refund my money twice because the post office delivered packages to the wrong place. (info said delivered but no package & I was home.)

I reordered from the same vendor because I felt so bad that they were cheated. I have not had this problem with Amazon, they take a picture of where it was delivered.

Re: When will I ever learn not to order from Q.

I ordered an Elemis product from QVC the first part of November.  It  was shipped but didn't show any tracking details and I never received it.  I called customer service, got them to credit that order back to me and send me another one of the same product...same situation happaned.  No tracking details and I never received the it.  I called and told them to credit me with that one too...now all I have to do is check my statement carefully and make sure they didn't charge me for either of the two orders !

Re: When will I ever learn not to order from Q.

Most of Q's packages are shipped by parcel post, not first class. Parcel post is the slowest and lowest priority of all mail. Many retailers, including Q, rely on 3rd parties (not USPS affiliated) to move parcel post from place to place. Those third parties aren't going to do it for free so packages can sit until it's profitable or they move mail as close as they can to the destination's post office.

I have cut way back on my Q orders. 2 reasons: Slow delivery and $$$$.

To OP:    It actually does happen with Amazon.  In fact I was supposed to get a package on Friday.  Tracking said it was on its way ( via UPS no less) and it's stil not here.   Also I had a package from Amazon on Wednesday delivered to my neighbor do it happens.  When you think of all the packages the post office delivers in a day all over the country, it's inevitable some go astray or get lost.  I've had packages go on a real crazy trip from time to time but eventually they arrive thanks to the tracking systems in place.

My Amazon drivers take pics of my packages on front porch.  Always.

I think if other large retailers maintained a general forum like this one, posters would find out there just isn't a company without problems.

What we do know is our personal experience -  mine has shown no change over the past maybe 6 years except that I pretty much in those years limited myself as a shopper, but what I do order arrives as promised or before.

Same thing happened to 2 of my QVC packages this past summer----waited for awhile, then emailed the Q--and they credited me,  but another day or 2 went by and those 2 paks showed up at my door step---was so mad as I had to call back to report them so I could pay for them---- am sure it is UPS not the Q directly----but I haven't ordered anything since and prob won't--am over these shopping channels in general----
