Please fire whomever is responsible for automatic video

I never comment on here, but the video that intrudes loudly whenever you click on an item HAS GOT TO GO! Extremely annoying, esp. when you are multi- tasking or partner is sleeping. Really I can think of NO scenario in which this would be welcomed.

All you have to do is UNCHECK the box that says 'Play Video Automatically'

I don't see that option! I agree with @qhound @it's super annoying. It didn't start happening till I upgraded my iPad's os to 15.1.

Gee, I'm looking at it right now clear as day.....

right under the video playing

Play Video Automatically and you can check or uncheck...the check is red.

You can easily just pause it if it bothers you

II is the pause function

Click it and the video stops immediately.

I don't think anyone needs to be fired though!

Sorry, but this is just ridiculous. @RespectLife told you where to find the Uncheck automatically playing video. So, rather than someone losing their job (seriously?) why don't you just learn how to use the board?

Or better yet ... why not just MUTE your device? This is not difficult to learn.

Hi everyone, I have not enjoyed those automatic video plays either and have seen the recommendations for unchecking the box; I cannot see them either-perhaps those of us on mobile devices have a different view?

I sm using an iPad and don't see the box for stopping video either. I know how to use the boards. This is annoying. Nobody needs your snarky response to an honest question.

I see the box to uncheck it on a regular computer but not on my iPad. I agree - annoying as heck!

That figures. My iPad is completely bonkers after updating to 15. Apple loves to fix things that aren't broken. My home screen is terrible, all cluttered with icons smushed together. Former options have disappeared. Way to go Apple. Guess your techs have to come up with something different if they want to keep those inflated checks coming in.
