Having worked at retailers with a privately branded card, I'm willing to bet Pat does it the most because she's probably very successful with people opening accounts during her shows.  

Also, there has been nothing negative in these comments.  Just because someone has a different opinion doesn't make it "scolding" or negative.  But you probably think this comment is negative too.  😹

Pat probably has a very, very successful sign up rate during her shows, so she is encouraged to repeat it.

I think Pat is a fantastic host. She is professional, informed, and pleasant.

So she pulls the Q Card out (which I bet she is told to do) no big deal to me.

I can take that over unprofessional, uninformed, and miserable any day.

It's interesting how some posters think that others posting an opposing view - in this instance, to the OP - are "piling on", "scolding" or acting as "the board police".

And yet those posting these comments don't see themselves as doing the very thing they're accusing others of doing.

So, are we only allowed to agree 100% with a topic or specific post?  If so, I don't see the point of these boards at all.  (And I must've missed that in the forum policies and rules.)

I've been watching Pat for many many years, always a professional. She's a real asset to QVC I think.
