I've seen each and every host do the same thing at one time or another. It's especially frequent when there's a large cash-back promotion for signing up for the card.

@They CallMe MRWILKES I agree with the OP. Years ago, the Q had a promotion where the hosts had the Q card with them, and before a presentation or a show, they would show the card and say a few sentences about it. That was a one-time promo. After that, the promotion was over and none of the hosts continued to do it. I have no idea why PJM continues with it and keeps a Q card in her pocket.

@Bella2022 . why? The hosts are probably asked to do it. Also, when I got someone to take out our credit card, I received a commission. You would do it too if that was you.
