In general, I wish they'd use this as a time to rethink the programming, develop fresh, new shows (and a decent variety of products), switch things around a bit.

QVC once was a go-to channel for background noise -- and that often caused me to make more purchases. Now, it's so predictable, repetitive, boring that I rarely keep it on more than a few minutes here and there.

Sandra and Courtney are actually doing a pretty nice job. I continue to think Sandra as the permanent host wouldn't be my choice, but it could be worse... Interesting that she says she'll be doing it for a few months, but won't be the final choice... I'd guess that remains to be seen...

As for Pat, were she to host PM Style, I'd imagine her morning duties would be reassigned...

And as for Sandra's 'fresh', 'genuine' approach because she isn't glaring at the monitors... oh brother... Not to mention it really IS possible to complement one host without dragging other hosts into it, or through the mud, as it were... Lisa is gone now. Those who have been relishing this day take note: it HAS arrived and there's no longer any reason to rag on Lisa...

I lke Sandra, it can't be easy hosting Lisa's show. I don't find her boring at all.

I had a feeling it was going to be Sandra all along as she has filled in so many times; it seems as though she was a logical choice. She' s fine, I hope everyone gives her a chance, her hosting this show can't be easy.

Sandra's already announced that she isn't the permanent host for PM style she's just filing in for a few weeks So we can rule her out being the permanent host.

I wouldn't bet the ranch on who we can rule in or out... Even saying she's only 'filling in' might or might not turn out to be accurate... If sales and ratings don't plummet too badly, who knows...? Personally, although Sandra has been the usual substitute, I'm sort of surprised they haven't opted to try a rotation... Maybe the assumption is Sandra is at least familiar in the role...

I don't think Courtney has it. Like another poster said, they need someone who could evolve the way Lisa did when Kathy Levine left, but unfortunately I don't think QVC has someone of that talent at this time. Also, Lisa was free to travel and also get involved in many other aspects of the job that some of the other "more seasoned" hosts may not want to do at this time. Most of the other hosts have family responsibilities which may mean they would not like to travel the way Lisa did and it seems QVC valued her opinion in many areas which must have meant a lot of extra hours for her. Also seemed she was almost always the one that kicked off the TSV and came back the next night to sell it out. (Rick also, but not with the cosmetics and fashions, etc.) I think QVC needs an overhaul on the selling style and needs new and interesting wares to sell. This is not the QVC that was interesting and a "have to watch" channel from years ago.
