I feel bad for the shoppers that don't understand some of the prices and think they will get the item home for "$12.97" not realizing that it is the first of four payments.   I also think they push "easy pay" way too much and some people may not realize how many payments are building up in their account.  (I know people have to take responsibility.)  I personally don't like easy pay and feel I'm paying for an item forever.  I seldom have used it and don't plan to use easy pay again.

@Daysdee  Years ago, when I first started shoppping with QVC, I bought a blazer and I mistakenly thought the price was just the first easy payment..  So that was a rude awakening for me.  I should have returned it.  It is funny because I just found it again in my closet a few days ago.  I hardly ever wore it.  I too am trying to avoid easy pay.  I hate seeing things on my credit card 4, 5, 6 months from now, and trying to figure out what it was I bought.  If I am not willing to pay for it in full in one month, then I don't really need it.

The caller said that about a 98 cents? Probably would have been easier to say the price is 45 dollars.:womansurprised:

@Spurt Shawn is a QVC sales host. She may be a “fashion diva” to some, but to me she is no fashion diva. In my opinion, QVC has not had a resident fashion diva since LR left.

Why would Shawn say they were $44 IF they were $44.98.?   $44 is not the price. She could have said under $50.... but to say the price is $44 is just wrong.

Yes it is but Shawn is not the only one who does that----they all do it.

Your right, we both know, as well as many others, that SK is no fashion diva, but sadly the Q execs think she is or think that they molded her to be one ....but what were they thinking!?!?!?!?! Her quirkly personality and attitude seems to make people back off rather than draw the viewers in..........Woman Frustrated

@SoX- I have to agree with your statement.  As I've commented on other posts, I really liked her when she first came to the Q, but she is quite different from her early days.  Oh well, things change, people change.....

@Spurt Maybe people’s definition of fashion diva has changed? It used to mean graceful, stylish, confident, successful personality. Now when you look up the meaning of fashion diva, graceful and stylish aren’t mentioned as traits. Quirky (there’s good and bad quirky) and fast-talking have now replaced graceful and stylish. LR was a graceful, stylish, funny, kind, and quirky host who related well to the vendors and shoppers alike. She was never conceited or condescending and always brought a sense of fun to her shows, without it seeming forced. I wish QVC could find someone like LR again, but then I don’t think they are willing to pay for celebrities anymore as they are being phased out. Also, QVC would have to start bringing back more quality products again for a celebrity to be willing to sell the products. There were many more quality products on QVC when LR was a host. Who knows, maybe if the economy keeps getting better, the quality of the products will improve (jewelry & clttothing), gold prices will go down....We can dream, right?😊
