There is another scary possibility..

Someone could think that ONE of the Easy Pays is the entire payment for the item, and think they "paid it off"....then the next Easy Pay hits for the item?

Not saying the OP is confused or forgetful, but it COULD happen.

Someone COULD get confused here....I've seen many posts about QVC implying that "for 16.99 you get this home"could confuse someone...of course most of US understand how Easy Pay works, but someone COULD be confused.

Don't know.

OP ( original poster) : Like former posters mentioned...CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE but make sure you have everything in front  of you....credit card statements, your computer turned on, your bank statements...anything you will need to prove your case....at the ready

I'm sure they can and will help you. You really have sort of a "ledger" I think goes back five years showing your purchases...but they can help you.

Good luck!!

Please get back to the board here....and if you have any further questions...please ask!!!

@Othereeeen I agree about how some could think that one flex pay is the full price!  I think they can be very misleading when they talk about flex pay and how little it is to get the item home.  If someone isn't familiar with flex pay, they could easily misunderstand.

Re: Overcharged & Frustrated

In the 20+ years I've shopped at QVC I can count on one hand how many times I've used easy pay. And yes, it's easy to change the default of easy pay to pay in full when ordering.  It does involve paying attention and I can also see where someone might think an easy pay is the total price for an item.

Buyer beware and it's up to the customer to keep track of expenditures.

She could also look at her bank or credit card charge for the date of purchase.....

Re: Overcharged & Frustrated

My opinion is that if you don't understand Flexpay, EZ Pay, payment plans, whatever it's called, perhaps you should not be shopping online or via a broadcast television show.

Or, perhaps, even have access to a credit card.

These are fairly basic personal financial management skills, and no company is at fault.

@They Call Me MR Wilkes

Even though it's hard to beleive today....there COULD be elderly or perhaps people loosing cognitive ability who could get confused about the price of an item...

You and I and most home shoppers know about Easy Pay....but think of someone who may be confused!!!

"Only 16.99!!! to get this home!!!"  loudly brayed over and over, with no subsequent mention of the total price ( it's up to the customer to see that full price on the screen!!!)...

It seems farfetched today because you'd not only have to beleive that low price was the total price, unless you've been so sheltered or haven't shopped for decades, you'd also not be able to understand how to interpret the Orders page on QVC's site....

Can there still be folks like that?

Why yes....yes there could!!!

I bet we never hear back.

Ordering under the influence can make one confused too...

"WHEN did I order THAT?!?!??!"

Posters don't realize that you can change the EZ pay default with one easy click? Strange.

One tap and done.

Sadly, you are correct.  Some posters don't know how to do the simplest of functions on Qvc.com.  It literally takes one second to change from easy pay to pay in full.  But...yeah.  You have to look at what you are doing.

Re: Overcharged & Frustrated

@Othereeeen   It seems all the shopping channels do that "Get it home for $10" when the real price is a lot more.  I've found myself double checking prices.  It seems very deceptive but it's up to the customer to "beware."

And the OP should calm down and explain exactly what she is looking for.  Including how far she wants to go back.
