There are a number of comments about jealousy and that if you don't like the host just turn them off and that we shouldn't ""bash"" someone. Expressing whether or not you like a host isn't bashing them it is simply letting QVC know that not everyone loves every host or their mannerisms. I won't watch Lisa because I think she comes across as arrogant and phony but I know that she has a lot of followers. I used to watch David but won't watch him anymore because of those ridiculous facial expressions and over the top expressions of loooooove for every product he sell and every recipe he tastes - which is just plain phony. Of course he isn't going to say I don't like something by why act so outrageous.
Frankly if I were QVC I would want to hear both the positives and negatives about hosts so they can determine if certain hosts have habits that are turning viewers off otherwise how can they properly evaluate their performances (other than by sales).

It's not jealousy with Lisa and those who don't care for her. With jealousy comes the feeling of loss, like jealous of one b/c you're afraid she will take your boyfriend. I don't think anyone who doesn't care for Lisa is "jealous" of her. The comments are mostly ones who think she is a phony and everything about her is phony.

Jealousy is not just something like being afraid someone will take your boyfriend...it's also a little envy of someone's position, looks, intelligence, etc. Sometimes jealousy or envy is what causes one person to be negative about another one or not like that person. And I still think there may be a little of that in some posts. Just MHO.

The majority of the comments that are made by some about Lisa, are the same that are made in Junior high about popular girls and aren't constructive criticism.
The comments that are made about her now are the same that where made 12-13 years ago her. If how she conducts herself is causing enough viewers to change the channel. She would be corrected and if she didn't change would be given less high profile shows and favorable time slots, and let go.
The majority of normal people will avoid those that they dislike. But yet whenever she is on, the same ones that say they cannot stand her and change the channel. Will be making posts about what she wore, said, did, etc....

QVC should have someone reading these boards as most of the posters give excellent suggestions and I don't call most of them "bashing." QVC should take note of how many times we say "I change the channel when xxxxx." If we are changing the channel, take note QVC as it means we aren't buying.

To "protest too much" is to insist so passionately about something that people suspect the opposite of what you are saying.
Do I detect a bit of jealousy in some of these posts?????
No,you don't detect jealousy.

She just makes me sick anymore, it is really hard to find anything nice to say about her. Now weare into tripling the words too, how lazy can she get? I guess more than I ever thought possible, possible, possible.

I am not a fan of LISA-Lisa....and( full disclosure) tuned in to see the hair, makeup, and what kind of dress she was in.I am one of those that call her Norma Desmond, etc. But I decided pay attention to her actually selling the items. That was really much more interesting because sometimes it's hard to get past all the overdone physical things, the staring at the monitor, and the posing. But if you listen to her talk about the items it's clearly that besides giving measurements, etc, she says a LOT of absolutely, absolutely
nothing. Her limited vocabulary of adjectives alone is embarrassing. After the words "amazing",beautiful",and now "important",she draws a blank.Doubling the adjectives does not make it MORE amazing, beautiful,or important. Now she has even started trippling these words. Then we hear the same catch phrases...money,old money,Madison Avenue, ladies who lunch, lead with the watch...and bag....especially if it's a GILI!!!! Then there is the pretense that she cannot afford certain things while wearing even more expensive things...(tacky). If you add in all of the constant talking about her looks, her thighs, and her cold,or whatever, that is more filler. Listening to her really is telling. But she sells those items and has her ardent fans who will not entertain the idea that this empress has no clothes.
